The staff is extraordinary friendly. They are the most lovely and friendly people working in a hotel / restaurant I have ever seen (and I have been to a lot hotels). My mother and me had so much pleasure because of you, thank you so much for that. We didnt feel like staying in a hotel, it felt like being guests at a friends place. We will come back. See you next year.

Excellent breakfast. Extremely helpful & friendly staff . Location is very central to the resort & they have a really good restaurant. It was a bonus being able to use the pool at the hotel next door.

The room cleaning regime was a bit haphazard. We asked for our towels to be changed after 3 days, although the room had been tidied. But, to be fair, the cleaners & reception reacted straight away to any request.

That two items went missing from my room. The first one which I noticed on the first day the hotel promised to give back the next day and after 1 week I didn’t receive it back and they promised send it by post and we never received it. The second item I only missed after I left the hotel and they couldn’t provide an explanation and therefore assumed that it wasn’t in the room and that I probably lost it.

Superb beachside location. Natural shade under pine trees for outside dining at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent meal choices and food quality for half board, with a menu that changed each day. Staff were all friendly and willing to put things right if necessary. Rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable.

The first room we were offered (which the team recognised as a mistake and rectified the following day) was dark and had no view to speak of. We were moved and had such a brilliant rest of the week this wasn’t an issue.

Nice venue and great location. Hotel is in almost front of the beach (Main Street is between hotel and beach). sea view rooms have a picturesque view. Definitely would stay again to that hotel. Covid protocols are applied 100%.

Bathtub with inbuilt jacuzzi very uncomfortable if you want to take a shower, and possibly dangerous for children and elderly.

The staff - we had such a friendly welcome from Fiorelli and her manager who went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The restaurant staff, particularly the lovely friendly guy from Morocco. The breakfast- what a feast! Chocolate milk for the kids, pancakes, lovely Greek yoghurt, fruit, honey, fresh bread and cakes. The position - hotel is right over the road from the beach and there are sun loungers you can rent for a discounted £2 a day as hotel guests. I also liked the restaurant's outside seating under the olive trees for lunch and dinner (where you can get a 10 per cent discount on food). My children loved the parrot and the beach and the balcony where we played cards in the evening. A nice hotel that's good value for money. Don't hesitate booking it.

The aircon didn't work very well on the first night at the hotel. However the receptionist (Fiorelli I think) was very very helpful and our room was changed. We were moved to the new rooms just outside the main building which I really liked.

Great location, delicious breakfast and dinner, friendly waiters, other hotel staff was really professional. Sunbeds on the beach are included in the price of the room. The beach is just across the road so you can go to your room whenever it is convenient for you. The cleaning ladies are doing an amazing job. Overall it was a really pleasant experience.

We had a car reserved as the hotel offers car rental but when the day of our trip came, they informed us that something is wrong with the engine. We needed to rent a car at the agency which was quite more expensive due to short notice and available cars. We know that these things happen but at least they could inform us about it when it happened as we reserved it 5 days in advance.

Hotel was overall really good. Personnel very friendly. Our room had a comfy bed, a nice private balcony with sea view and even a bath with jets. Swimming pool was calm and large enough for everyone that wanted to use it.

Plakias was a very windy place during our stay (we couldn't eat outside, full bottles blown off the table, sandblasting on the beach), and apparently it happens often in Plakias region. In the town and in the hotel, people told us that whole Crete was this windy and that it wouldn't help to move to another location. After some research and travelling around, we found that only the Plakias region suffered this amount of wind. The wind itself could be bad luck, it's just a pity that we had to do our own research and call around to other villages to get honest feedback about wind conditions on other locations. I included the wind in the 7,0 score because honestly it really spoiled the experience and mainly beacuse of the lack of honest feedback.

The breakfast and dinner varied everyday and we could always find something delicious to eat. The hotel is located next to the beach and the sunbeds are free for the guests of the hotel. The staff is just marvelous we had nothing to complain about. Our room had a beautiful view to the sea, it was amazing to see it every morning. The rooms were cleaned every 2 days, and we got new towels and bedding too. I can hardly recommend this hotel to anyone, worth it! We will come back.

The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was basic but comfortable. Breakfast was nice, especially considering they couldn’t have their usual buffet because of Covid restrictions. The pool shared with next door but was quiet and pleasant.
