Lugar muy tranquilo para descansar. Sin ruidos por las noches. A 15 minutos andando del centro. Hay un Mercadona al lado por si necesitas algo. El hostal dispone de una máquina en la recepción por si te apetece alguna bebida fría. Trato muy agradable del personal. La entrada si llegas tarde es muy sencilla y te atienden por el telefonillo.

Hostal Alda Río Duero is a basic, economy hotel (for Americans, it is similar to a Holiday Inn Express). The room was fairly large by European standards and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good in addition to coffee, tea, and breads, there were yogurt, cereal, sliced ham, sliced cheese, and fruit available.

The girls on reception were very friendly and helpful. The Hostal is modern and well maintained. It’s also very close to a good supermarket to stock up with supplies.

The hotel is not in downtown Soria, but we were looking for a place that is reasonably priced and parking the car would be easy. Indeed, street parking is easy in the area, whereas walking to the historical centre (20 minutes or so) was not a problem for us. Getting there from the city bypass is easy too. The room and bathroom were both ok. Particular thanks and words of appreciation to the staff at the reception - very helpful, always smiling, and efficient. We had to print boarding passes and this was done without any problems. In the vicinity there are several bars, which serve breakfast and allow one to have an evening drink. Soria itself was a positive experience - we initially thought about it as a base to explore the surroundings, but the historical centre is full of interesting places. The romanesque doorway to Santo Domingo monastery and riverside walk to see San Saturio hermitage are particularly recommended.
Not really a complaint, but just a cautionary note that the room lacked AC. Nights were cool enough to offset the daily heat, but I suppose it could be a problem for someone.
The wifi connection can be improved (disappearing signal).

The hotel is located 15 mins walk from the center in a quiet area. Secure underground parking in site. Breakfast basic but ok. Reception staff were great and very helpful.

Location is easily accessible by car and parking in the area is free. We were very kindly received by an employee of the hotel. The hotel room met our expectations. It was clean, adequate in size and had 2 beds which are comfortable. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking distance from the center. The breakfast was fresh there was plenty to choose from.
