Great family space, very homely. Loved it!!

The hosts were so, so lovely!!! They genuinely wanted you to enjoy your stay which our family of four thoroughly did!!! They were the nicest South African hosts we have met on our four week vacation!!! Do yourself a favour and stay here to receive genuine hospitality!!!

Very friendly hosts, large and clean room, good value for money.

The host Andre was lovely, very welcoming and warm. The cottage was cute, clean and comfortable and had everything you need for a few nights stay, although the kettle, toaster and stove were very old and could be doing with an update.

The Wi-fi was very important to us as we both work online and unfortunately the wi-fi here was very poor, with little to no signal at all in the cottage and we were unable to work from this location, resulting in us checking out a day earlier.

The location was central, this would have been a lovely stay for myself.

I specifically phoned and asked if they were wheelchair friendly. There were no grab handles in the bathroom and no access to the braai area(Step). Wheel chair access was by way of a piece of wood placed on bricks. The difficulties with a wheel chair are already challenging rather pass on the booking. I feel that grab handles and access is a minimum requirement for being able to advertise as wheelchair friendly.

Our hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable of local restaurants and activities. They also kept us informed of the loadshedding times and checked we had fully charges torches to cover this time.

The locality is quite good. the area could be fenced, there is beans and these do get set off by passing people. The mattress could be renewed. The other rooms is quite large and a lot of space.

Security could be improved where you could park behind a fence. The parking is also very constrained. Lighting is a problem especially during load shedding.

The unit was exactly like the pics. Upmarket finishes. Beautiful gardens. Tranquil setting. The place was clean and comfortable. The unit was big and spacious. Friendly host and hostess. We will definitely recommend the place to family and friends.

Shortage of glasses. There were 3 wine glasses and only 1 whisky glass.

Good place to be. I would love to pay a visit again.

Self catering thing I am lazy to cook especially if I am away.

Nice place for a stay in Hermanus! Room was comfortable with plenty of space. The gardens of the property were beautiful. The room had a nice covered patio that would be perfect to enjoy a meal or cocktail.
