The services provided by the girl receptionist was excellent. The view was good too.

Everything else. The room was full of mould everywhere, spiders felt like at home, also we found slugs in the shower room. Walls are very thin, we could heard the noisy Brazilian neighbours since 6 am.

The site is very unusual; it’s several small chalets on a steep hillside with a great view. The staff is very welcoming; gracious and friendly. The location is far away from the town so it’s quiet... and the drive to the pousada takes you through a chasm in the granite hillside.

It’s difficult to find in the dark... street numbering leaves a lot to be desired although the staff did a great job directing us to the location. Once you arrive you’re faced with a significant number of steps carved into the granite to get you to the chalets. These can be quite slippery so exercise caution. The room ventilation is a wall unit air conditioner that is quite loud and seems to struggle to cool the room even in the evening. The bathroom was as clean as they could get it but suffers from stains due to decades of high humidity, so it doesn’t look all that great. To be frank the photos shown on Booking.com do not really represent the conditions of the actual location.
