The location was superb. Beautiful, unobstructed views over the beach and sea. Sunrises glorious. Smart looking apartments, safe and secure.

Almost everything about the furnishings and equipment in this apartment was sub-standard. It felt bleak and uncared for. I had to go to their office with a huge list of missing items from their inventory. The apartment was supposedly for five and there wasn't even enough crockery/equipment for me and I was alone in there. Equipment old, broken and shabby, washing machine was an extremely old and rusty toploader, fridge rusty, architraves and skirting boards rotting. One more example is that the 2 hooks the kitchen had were both sellotaped onto the wall and dropped off as soon as a tea towel was hung there. Their maintenance man came on request and sellotaped them back on! My friends in the same apartment directly below me had a beautifully decorated, and well equipped apartment. They told me that Unitsura apartments were always substandard and recommended that next time, I rent through Calpe Rent Apart whose standards are much higher.

Out of the lift on floor 9 pitch black. No auto lighting. Property covid clean but dining table sticky to touch. Pillows stank. Sofa stained and no cushions. Balcony light shade filthy. Fridge rusty. No soap in bathroom and no washing up facilities.

Nice place to stay in Calpe. Really helpful staff in 24/7 reception - provided access to the printer, immediately replaced broken coffee maker and booked a taxi. No complaints in general.

Apartment 39a on 9th floor - WiFi with very little coverage - it could be used only in the kitchen close to the staircase with the router. It is a problem for someone planning to work there - to sit on the balcony or in the living room you need to provide your own network. The bed in one of the bedrooms was broken. The apartment was clean, but there was a lot of dirt under the beds or in the corners close to the furniture. Not a big deal for adults, but if your 1-3 year old babies squeeze everywhere then better clean that up yourself upfront :)

This was another return for me to Hipocampos - this says I was happy in past and I was happy also this time. Location is perfect and can't be better - amazing view to the sea, possibility to use "sun" on the terrace in the afternoon. Close location of two supermarkets, and many restaurants. Also very good location for cyclists, with Vuelta Turistica just behind the corner. The apartament has plenty of space. Very good equipment, with basic coffee machine, owen, iron, microwave etc. AC working also as heater is there, in case you need to warm up a bit which is especially useful in the winter months. And of course small, but very nice spa / pool next to the building, where you can relax. Overall, with my 5th or 6th stay in Hipocampos, I always recognise it as great value for this price.

Apartaments are now a bit "rusty" and could do well with a bit of refresh, but this is not a big issue - as said before, Hipocampos is great value for money you pay.

Nice location, very nice view, beach is very close, and a lot of restaurants and supermarket around. Very quiet and safe area.

Everything was perfect. And stuff was very very helpful. I'm so impressed. We arrived around 12:00, but they accept us without any waiting time for check-in, although official check-in time is 17:00. On top of it, we asked for late check-out (around 16:00), and the stuff was just smiled and said "OK, no problem." They did not charge us any extra cost for those early/late check-in/out.
