The area does not look very nice but access to other places was good.

Terrible check in! It was so hard to find this place and only open check in hours are 3.5 hours. Do not come here if you are not within the check in hours, I was about to book another hostel

The room are good, also the bathroom, the kitchen was big and well equipped.

the sheets had bad smell, which was real bummer, and also we had a room that was on the street and the noise was really awful

Clean and new facilities

Reception staff is not always there. The room is hot during the day time.

Hostel has very good location just next to Augsburg-Oberhausen station, not far from the centre of city. Around is a lot of restaurants and shops.

Furniture in our room was clean, but a bit shabby. There was kitchenette, but no kitchenware, so we couldn't use it (although we didn't need it anyway). Also we heard some loud music in the night, but it was Saturday in the beginning of the July, so it's quite understandable.

Easy to find, soft check-in, near the station

bad is good but we can t sleep because in the room was 50 degree. it is necessary to put air conditioner or fan because the windows remains closed, to protect your hears for the street-noise

The Slamba Hostel seems a rather new building: clean, easy to reach (not to far from the city: why not specify what to do to get there?), good value for money. I do not know why it is not written in their web-site page: from the central train station you can walk to Koenigsplatz and then take the Strassenbahn n.2 direction Augsburg-West (stop: Oberhausen Bf/Haller Platz) or Strassenbahn n.4 from the train station and then change at Wertachbruecke, then one stop with Linie n.2 to Augsburg West (Oberhausen/Haller Platz).

The room was overlooking the main street (Ulmer Strasse) and it was noisy but because of the hot temperatures it was impossible to keep the windows shut as the room did not have air conditioning. The synthetic mattresses did not help: they would better suit cold temperatures! It was difficult to get to sleep surrounded by noise and heat. That is the only complaint I have to do: maybe the owner is thinking of installing an air-conditioning system, considering the high temperatures reached in the last few summers.

first of all: - good luck finding the place - NO staff (key was left in a numbered lock-box next to the entrance (again if you find it) and they gave you a code for it) - NO other residents (isn't one of the points of hostels is to socialise usually) - felt more like a prison hotel - big sign in the kitchen "please clean the microwave after each use" - plot twist - there's no microwave in the kitchen - again NO staff to enquire about it either... - they give you Wi-Fi password, which again doesn't work.. - way out of the city - very noisy road-facing room

Really good price, clean, comfortable room. You can park in a nearby street. The hostel is very quiet and peaceful. Bathrooms on the corridor were very clean.

Entrance from the backyard might be a bit problematic. When we arrived the reception was closed and no signs informing how to get inside, however communication by phone with the staff was great, we didn't have to wait long :)

Very good location close to Augsburg-Oberhausen railway station. Even though we arrived late because of a train delay and there was no one at the reception, friendly phone communication helped us to check in easily. The rooms are comfortable, in particular, the beds. All the facilities were super clean. There were not so many people, so it was quiet in the hostel.

The only problem was Wi-Fi. It somehow switched spontaneously from one network to another and the internet connection quality was extremely poor on the first day and slightly better on the second.

Road is a bit noisy

Location is great. It's only 3 minutes walk from Oberhausen train station. There are netto and Edeka near accommodation and KFC is on ground floor of this building. Hostel has big space. Bed is clean and comfy. If you are late morning person, please bring ear plug because you will hear a sound from tram. However there is no problem for me at all. Please contact staff in advance in case you arrive after 6PM, so staff will inform you to do self check-in. After enter the location in google map, please take a look on the right side and you will see the entrance:)

Room size. Near the train station, minutes walking. Many supermarkets and restaurants around the place.

The entrance is not on the main street so it is somehow confusing to get it. There is a small bar in the courtyard that is loud till midnight.
