Room had a Velux skylight which looked out over the Forth. The location was very good. The lock box check-in worked really well.

Returning the key to the lock box on departure, proved too difficult. I had to re-enter the hotel and leave the key in the room door (as suggested in the hotel's joining email.

The room wasn't the best in terms of cleanliness, the shower tray was broken to the point I thought I'd fall through at any moment. Communication from the hotel staff was very poor to non existent until the time they want you out of the room. This is a hotel but is being run as a holiday let so no staff and no dining facilities and no reception. Attempted to call ahead for information but no answer on either mobile or landline on multiple occasions. This does not warrant the price tag.

Nothing - self check in, enter via a side entrance, no staff, box room (it was clean) unusable shower because it was too small and no facilities in the area and no breakfast available. Way over priced for what it was at £99, asked for a refund of £50 and have had no response and no refund.

Just perfect and peaceful for an overnight stay. When I arrived my keys were not in the lock box as indicated. However I cannot even complain as the situation was corrected within 30 minutes. The owner even came by my room once I was in to apologize and check on me. It was a small room, but a good sleep after a long day in one of my favorite seaside towns was all I required, and this did the trick. Thank you!

Location was good close to the train station, the beaches and the town shops and restaurants . Clean and quiet with lovely views. Would stay again

Shower was very dated and the shower doors did not close properly so was worried about water on the floor. Never saw any staff at all as we self checked in but that was not a problem

Not much - one to avoid!

Arrived to find they had no staff at all so no food available. Room was ok but no bedside table lamps worked and 2 out of 5 main lamps broken! Not particularly clean either!

I was met by the lovely cleaning lady who just happened to be coming out of the hotel when I arrived. I explained this was my first time away without my husband who had just been taken into a care home. She kindly showed me how to work the key system as I was a bit nervous but she was great. And as luck would have it just as I was leaving she appeared to start her daily work and gave me such a lovely hug I was quite touched. People can be so kind.
