It was handy with the cooking utensils and the back garden access to go down the stairs to reach the road to the Sanctuary.

There was not enough supply of toilet tissue.

Great location and nearby to the main attraction which was handy and perfect for a last minute visit. The room was really good size, decent bathroom and kitchen with plenty of utensils to use for that cup of coffee.

The room had a bit of an off smell which was weird and we had to keep the window open for a while which made the room cold.

Picking the keys up was ok but they were at a different address to the one on the Booking Com page where I saw the advert. Was not a problem for me. The host was very pleasant.

There were several problems. We could not use the shower properly as the bracket to hold the shower head was not fixed correctly and was loose and it was impossible to fit the head in it anyway. So we had to hand hold the shower head to shower. The sink did not have a plug so I had to improvise with an upside down plastic mug. The kitchen cupboards were half over the sink and it was difficult for me to wash up without catching my head on the handles. I am 5ft 11in. tall. The plugs for the coffee machine, microwave and kettle were all in a triple plug. it is not ideal to have three plugs in one socket. Once the appliances were plugged in they were in my opinion too near to the two hotplates. This meant you had to be careful where the leads did not touch the hotplates when they were plugged in. A triple plug from a health and safety point of view is never a good or safe solution. Finally the entrance door handle was loose. As we were only there for three nights it was not worth the time and effort to get the problems fixed. I was going to mention the above to the owner when were leaving. However despite using both phone numbers I could not make contact. I left a message and placed the keys in the post box of number 14 which was the address that I collected from. The picture on the website makes the property seem more modern than it actually is. With a little maintenance it could be improved.

We were supposed to arrive at about 9 pm. However we arrived late, in fact very very late. 2 am. The host was good enough to leave the code to get the keys. The apartment is big. It was big enough for two families. It also has everything, including a washing machine and a dryer. And it is a good walking distance from Lourdes. Shrine.

Everything was perfect.
