If you like badly pet stained carpets and ants in your kitchen, this is the house for you. We informed the management company as soon as we checked in that the carpets were badly stained upon our arrival. We didn’t hear anything back except an automated reply saying they were busy helping another client. I had to follow up the next day and the response that they gave me was they would be sure to address it AFTER we left. Super helpful for our stay. With a hefty cleaning fee and additional payment for pets, I would think that clean carpets when checking in should be the standard. Additional downside to our stay was the ant infestation in the coffee grinder unit and all around the coffee maker and sink area. When addressed with the property manager, they let us know that there were ant traps in the laundry area, next to the mouse traps. This is obviously an ongoing problem and should be addressed and not the responsibility of the Vrbo guest to deal with.
There are 2 other areas that need to be addressed in this home. One, the water damage to the ceiling in the downstairs shower is unacceptable. The ceiling has bubbled and is sagging in the corner. Secondly the dryer needs to be fixed. The knob to turn it on is stripped and the dryer can’t be used without engaging it completely. Luckily there were pliers in the house and we were able to Macgyer it on.
On the plus side, the home is in a wonderful location and there is room for a very large family. Would I stay again? No

Hyde Park location close to everything Boise has to offer. We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home.

Great house. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was pretty kid friendly too. It had a pack and play and a few toys. The location was fantastic. It’s walking distance to a park and playground and also to cafes and shops. Also short car rides to downtown.

Very nice, home-like feel. Great location.
Only negative was constant (and unwarranted) automated warnings about noise level and receiving potential fines… sometimes when we were not even there. We were extremely quiet and respectful. Prior to booking we were not aware our voices would be monitored… there are noise alarms positioned right next to dining room table, patio dining table, fences, and other gathering areas. Maybe the neighbor’s barking dog set them off?

The house is in a beautiful neighborhood that was walking distance to Hyde Park and Camel’s Back. It was very welcoming and clean with a lovely front porch and back yard. The property manager was very attentive, the check in process was simple and she sent us lovely coffee shop and restaurant recommendations for the area. We had a wonderful stay!

The house was in a fantastic location. Walking distance to hiking trails and the park at Camel’s Back Park. I didn’t realize how close to downtown it was, a short drive or bike ride. The house was clean and welcoming. The master suite with en suite bathroom was perfect for my in-laws. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize the second bedroom upstairs only has French doors with glass and no bathroom except in the master. So we pivoted and opted to use the downstairs bedroom for privacy for my daughter, my husband and myself. It worked out well because she’s young enough to enjoy a twin mattress on the floor. And we had a full bathroom right across the hall. The customer service was wonderful and very timely. Response time was very quick. And via text the contact people were very nice. Overall we loved it. It is a great, cozy house with loads of character. All the special things like toys, games, and books was a great touch also.

The property was perfect for our girls weekend. The house had lots of room and the neighborhood was lovely. We enjoyed morning and evening hikes in Camelsback and exploring Hyde’s Park.

The house was a perfect location for us. Walked to hiking trails and rode our bikes right from the house. Definitely want to come back!

Was a nice stay. Exceptionaly nice naborhood and nabors quite friendly. Felt safe lots of cool places within walking distance. Stairs were a bit awkward and slippery glad it had a room on the main floor for my elderly father. The toilet used allot of water but had to be plunged several times. Up stairs had one bathroom in the master, no fan had to go to the store and buy faberze the day we arrived, had black cloths to remove makeup but kleenex was sparce more trips to the store. The second bedroom upstairs had glass doors but no curtain or shade, a bit awkward. The fees on top of the daily rate were quite a bit higher than expected and not sure what some were for nearly doubled the cost

Our family of five and our dog stayed for 3 weeks and enjoyed nightly walks to Hyde Park and Camel’s Back. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essential cooking supplies (knives, pots, pans, dishes). Beds were comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay again!

What a great property!!! Great location, the park is 2 blocks, Hyde Park a few blocks away. Close to downtown Boise too. The neighbors on both sides of home are super nice. The home is great. The beds were super comfortable. we will definitely stay there again and again!!

My husband, myself and another couple stayed for 5 nights. The location was fantastic. The neighborhood was great. Close to downtown, lovely trees and loved the front porch. The inside was clean however there are some things that need to be addressed. From the inside, the door to the basement was left unlocked and it is a complete drop off of several feet which could be a potential hazard and liability. It should be secured. The front door key took us some time to figure out. You might want to include instructions on the use of the key. For example you have to lift the key up slightly in order to open and close the deadbolt. The upstairs Master has no circulation to speak of. We were unable to open the bathroom window in the upstairs bathroom; there was no exhaust fan in bathroom and the downstairs toilet needed to be plunged frequently. We were visiting friends who live in Boise and all and all we loved our time in Boise and surrounding areas.

We were looking for a home within walking distance to both trails and restaurants, and this location delivered! Just a1.5 blocks to Camel's/Hull's Gulch trails and 4 blocks to local Hyde Park businesses/eateries. We had no idea how much we would love lounging on the front porch, from morning coffee to evening wine. This home is well-suited for three couples (spouse and I and our two adult children and their partners), although the 2nd bedroom upstairs has a window door--great for letting in light but not so much for privacy. Manager was super responsive to all communications. We cooked a lot in the spacious kitchen, but never used the backyard BBQ/table (we were there during a heatwave, and there is no shade in the back). AC totally worked and kept the home cool during the heat. Beds were super comfortable, all amenities great. The house itself could use some fresh paint on the outside, a little garden refresher maybe, but overall an excellent place to stay.
