We were traveling on a motorcycle and this location was perfect for us. The apartment was clean and so inviting. The bottle of wine was waiting for us. The owner is such a nice person who greeted us in the beginning and in the end.

What a lovely apartment spacious for 4 people with good facilities and a nice outlook of the garden with parking and close to amenities. A good place to stay for a trip to the Old Town of Dubrovnik

The mattresses were hard and not to everyone’s liking however the bedding was clean and welcoming.

Owner went above and beyond for us during our stay! The place was comfortable, clean and stylish. Many bars and restaurants witching walking distance

The pillows were not very comfy, which is down to personal preference. However everything else was perfect, this is not a major!

We stayed for one night at Ortenca Apartment after finishing a 1-week cruise to Dubrovnik. Our host was very welcoming and made us immediately at home. The apartment itself was spotless, stylishly furnished, had plenty of space and a lovely sunny balcony. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Ortenca apartment and I must say, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience. Pefect 10/10 the apartment and the host. the host's exceptional hospitality, they not only made us feel like a valued guest but also extended to organized transportation and where to eat. 100% recommended.

The apartment was beautiful, the nicest we’ve stayed at in our time in Europe. The host was fantastic, very welcoming and helpful. Great location, easy bus ride to Old Town.

The apartment was bright, spacious, comfortable and very nicely appointed. There are two outdoor spaces with patio tables & chairs. It's in a residential area of Dobrovnik but quite quiet, surrounded by trees and the family's garden. The owners could not be more friendly and helpful. There is easy access to the old town on the nearby bus routes & also a short walk down to the beach area with a delightful walkway along the shore.

If you are considering booking this property, do not hesitate! The apartment is beautiful, spotless clean and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect and in walking distance to everything within the lapad area. Uber to old town 5/6 euros and picks you up at the front gate. The real gem of this place is the host Slavko who lives in the property upstairs. The kindest man who could not do enough for us. He brought us beautiful homemade apple pie that his wife made and lovely red wine and chocolates. Anything we needed he was more than happy to help. We had a fantastic stay and will miss our morning coffee on the balcony looking at the lemon trees. Thank you! We will be back!

The property was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The facilities were sufficient for a 4 day stay. The host was a very nice man, Super friendly and helpful to the point that he went over and beyond what was expected. He even brought a birthday cake for us. The location was excellent and we had parking for one car.

There wasn't sufficient hot water for 4 people to have a shower around the same time. The parking spot was tight for a big car, therefore it is advisable to check with the host if you plan on bringing and car that is bigger than average. The beds were hard, one member of our party found them too hard and uncomfortable. Perhaps a matter of personal choice, The host was very friendly and present. One day, while we were out, he let himself in. He did collect some rubbish and leave us some homemade pastries, but not everyone would like the idea of the host entering the property during the stay, even if he did leave cake. There was no washing machine, which could be an issue for a longer stay.

The apartment has two seperate bathrooms, and the location nearby bus no. 6 which goes to the old town, is very convenient. The owner was very helpful and thoughtful. When we arrived, small chocolates, a bottle of wine and later on cake, was placed on the table in the livingroom for us. I very much recommend this apartment.

Absolutely wonderful host and a very nice, comfy and clean apartment. It was very close to multiple nice restaurants and access to sunset beach was 7-8 minutes walk.

Cleanness

The apartment is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the beds extremely comfortable and the showers have the best water pressure I’ve ever seen anywhere. There are two outdoor areas: a vine covered balcony for afternoon sun (and drying your swimwear after a day at Sunset beach or one of the many little coves) and a charming patio where we played cards and drank the local white wines. Within about a minute on foot there is a nice easy-going restaurant and mini market or just walk another minute and you’ll find a great bakery for breakfast supplies. The location means you are really handy for both the beach and the harbour with all their eateries. However, the most noteworthy part of my review must mention our host Slavko. He was a great source of knowledge and really went out of his way to make our stay just perfect. Lifts, organizing taxis, booking a fabulous rooftop restaurant, explaining the topography, even bringing us homemade treats… what more could you want? We literally had to drag ourselves away at the end of our stay!

It took us 2 days to pick the right accommodation in Dubrovnik. There were so many options. Finally, we booked Ortenca Apartment and was the best choice. We felt like at home with Croatian family. We were welcomed by chocolate and local red wine. The host is so nice, communication with him was without any problem. Top of that, we got home made apple pie that was so yummy. The apartment has comfy beds, well equipped kitchen or two spotless bathrooms. Also happy to get free parking on street, because parking situation in Dubrovnik is insane. I would highly recommend this accommodation to two couples or one family. Location is perfect for beach and not far from old town by bus.
