Charge for extra bed was not clear from booking stage

Pool is big and clean. Place is very clean and the host is very welcoming. Also the view of etna when waking up was a big plus.

Location and the pool!

Nice place, very quiet, pool area/garden was fine, very quiet too. Apartment was ok, basic equipment, AC in one of the bedrooms and the kitchen. Close to a couple of small towns with supermarket, different shops, take away etc.

The apartment is listed as having a washing machine, which it doesn't have (washing machine was one of the reasons we chose this apt.). Instead you can talk to the owner about using their machine. Tried this and it didn't work well for us. At first owner wasn't home (at the same time as us) for a long time, so had to run back and forth a number of times, during several days. Then when she was home, she didn't want to let us use the machine at that time and the talk/discussion regarding this got quite uncomfortable, owner was not very customer friendly in my opinion. Only washed once because of the owners attitude, even though we had wished to wash more. Owner only speaks italian, the language barrier probably didn't help either. WIFI is not great. Poor/no connection in the apartment. At the pool area the connection/speed is a bit better, but it is still unstable, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
