First class location in Ambleside, easy walking distance to the various excellent restaurants, pubs and shops. 20 minute walk or short bus ride to the lakeside. Spacious accommodation with high ceilings, giving a great sense of space - large rooms, plenty of storage, no awkward corners or crowding for a family of four. Well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas and beds too - couldn't ask for much more!
Could have done with some basic supplies on arrival, like kitchen roll, washing up liquid, sponges etc. Hot water was via a combi boiler which is fine but needed to be figured out, as the thermostat has hot water controls which aren't needed. Electric shower in en-suite, which are never as good as plumbed hot water. You need to be good at parking to use the designated space!

the property was in a great location and was modern which is of my taste.
the bed in the master room was broken so I’ve been left very unsatisfied I tried to contact and had no response and had next to no sleep due to the bed being broken, there were also what looked like juice or wine stains on the sheets.

We loved everything about the property - facilities, location
5pm check in, 9am checkout on a Sunday morning. Noise over the road at Lily’s until 1.15am in both nights. Could do with better lighting outside round the back when it’s dark.

Amazing location, super clean and tidy. We were so impressed with the apartment, felt like home from the moment we stepped inside. Everything you could want from a self catering kitchen and more! Cosy, warm and relaxing. The hot tub style bath was amazing after a day out and about.
For us, the location was ideal. No need to move the car as the bus stop was 100 yards away, the ferry 15mins walk and the town of Ambleside in your doorstep. Lots of walks from the town, as well as the most amazing children's play area/park and lots of yummy cafes!
Only two negatives, the first is that the exterior stairs access would not be suitable for anyone unsteady on their feet. It was fine for us, we carried our 3 year old up and down as she didn’t like the stairs, but we had no problems. And the second is that both the bedrooms face the main road and the pub/bar across the road. It was quite noisy up until 11:30pm each night. Again, this didn’t bother us as both the children are heavy sleepers and had no impact on our sleep.

Towels need updating - bit threadbare. No tea or coffee, presumably because of COVID but bit of a lame excuse now! En suite toilet is loose against the wall and the cistern takes ages to fill up! Peeling paint around splashback in kitchen

Staff from the solicitors office using the flats allocated parking space and then knocking at the door and using extreme profanity to us when they were blocked in.

Location very central and incl parking for 1 car. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, all amenities incl big fridge, a washer/dryer and dishwasher.
Shower in master bathroom not very big.

Apartment was spotless and finished to a very high standard. Great location right in the centre with parking which is always a bonus in a town centre.

The location is perfect for seeing Ambleside and visiting Lake Windermere. There are some really great things to see and do in the local area and we loved being in the centre of the village.

The second shower didn’t work and the boiler started leaking. I tried to contact the owner multiple times and didn’t get much help.

Very comfortable property, and excellent location for eating shopping etc. Good facility in the property and very spacious.
Not very easy to find the property, and the en-suite wasn’t working. A bit noisy at night as some people shout outside everyday.

Just a note to say the sink was leaking in the first bathroom and the toilet in the en suite moved when you sat on it ...these are just observations not complaints as we thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Loughrigg view 😀
