Good location, breakfast was fine.

I think it was much too expensive for the quality. No restaurant.

The breakfast delivered to the room (as COVID-19 restrictions still in force) was exceptional with both hot and cold plates plus juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread and coffee (or tea) delivered on time (of choice) with a smile. Holiday Inn Express and Hampton by Hilton at Stansted Airport could learn a lesson from this comparatively small hotel in a provincial town which sees comparatively few foreign tourist visitors.

The wifi is the one thing which lets this friendly hotel down. Although adequate around the reception area, signal drops off markedly the further away your room is - despite repeaters in the long corridor. I have stayed at the Abrava a few times in the past but forgot about this Achilles Heel so did not request a room near Reception. Incidentally, the local restaurants do not offer wifi and locals say the level of internet coverage in this rural town is generally quite poor so I don't blame the hotel management.

We stayed at the hotel during the lockdown as we was traveling for work, the hotel was very clean, the reception area looks welcoming, the staff was so friendly and helpful, the beds was very comfortable, there was snacks and drinks was available in the minibar fridge in the hotel room, bathroom was spacious with a very powerful shower, we also purchased toothpaste/toothbrushes that the hotel had at reception, we was bought our breakfast to our room in the morning with tea/coffee & orange juice, the brealfast was amazing, with a big selection of food,
