The location was exceptional, directly overlooking the Wakenitz river. 15 minutes on foot to Lübeck Altstadt, or 5 minutes by bus. Great breakfast!

The rooms are a bit outdated, but VERY clean. The bathroom grout was a little moldy around the shower.

The staff were lovely. The breakfasts offered loads of variety and the bread was very good! A beautiful position of the hotel on the river with a balcony to take in the view over the trees and river was so special. Only a 15 mins walk to town centre or 5 mins bus ride. A really unique base from which to explore Lubeck. Very good value.

The location is great! They have a free parking lot right near the hotel. The room was clean and spacious, also they upgraded us to a better room with no extra charges. It was very quiet which is important for me. Breakfast is good, coffee is great! There weren't any vegetables though.

I would give this place a solid 9/10, but I won't, and here is why. I came to the hotel with a friend. I was the one who booked the room therefore I started to talk about checking us in with the receptionist. I was speaking English and he answered in English too with no struggle. But a few minutes later he figured out that my friend speaks German and switched to her. He just forgot about my existence and continued to explain everything in German. I told him that I don't speak German but he ignored me and continued to talk only to my friend so she had to translate all the information to me. I felt completely invisible. This was so rude and unfriendly! Therefore I can't recommend this hotel to English speaking people(

Beautiful view from the hotel of the Wakenitz river even though was a bit of walk from the Lübeck centre. The breakfast spread was also very nice.

The staff was not very welcoming but not rude. The room did not have enough lighting.

Location and view is awesome! also very good breakfast included. Overall good value for the money! I will definitely visit again!

COVID Mask!

A short walk (10-15 mins) outside the old town, but meant parking was easy and free. Good traditional hotel. Very close attention to Covid rules and mitigations. Comfortable, clean room which was a good size.

very accessible by car, also allowed for good pedestrian visit of historic city and or leisure stroll along the river Wakenitz.
