A perfect place to stay on lake Como. Loved our room with a view of the lake and the piazza. Would love to visit again.

The location is incredible - right in the heart of Menaggio. The (small) infinity pool on the rooftop is awesome.

Our room was directly above the bar/restaurant and it was quite noisy early in the mornings.

The view of the Como Lake

At 5:30 morning the hotel restaurant starts the music of disco, very noisy! Could not continue to sleep! We don't understand why they started so early in the morning, and they have a very early checkout, at 10:00!

Fantastic location with wonderful rooms overlooking the square and with lake view. all facilities were top class and super clean. totally surpassed my expectations and I am fussy!

Positioned directly on the lake with charming elegant decor. Excellent bed, linens, bathroom. Unbelievably clean. Quick check in and check out. Restaurant on ground floor is superb for sipping wine or full dinner on plaza. We had a balcony and I highly suggest it as the views are out of a dream. I don understand how this is only a 3 star, value is exceptional.

Great location, beautiful view from the room (balcony), comfortable bed, good wifi, nice place downstairs for a drink/aperitivo.

It was not a big deal, but the doors on the top floor would make a terrible noise when somebody walked in or out of the room. Not sure if it’s the doors or the people who do not know how to behave, though.

Place view and hospitality

The location is spectacular. The building is beautiful, we had the room 309 which is adjacent to the terrace (it has a small balcony fenced off the main terrace) The view is stunning. Garage nearby paid extra €12 per day. Breakfast not included in the price however the downstairs restaurant serves paninis etc so the choice is decent. The room was in the attic, size wise it’s fine for two people. Bathroom also fine. I wasn’t a fan of the shower though - the water pressure was somewhat disappointing (guessing it was weak because we were in the top floor?) plus the shower head was attached to the wall so there was no option to lower it or adjust it however shower caps were provided so it was fine. The furnishings of the room were not modern but matched well with the general property style. The room looked clean and pleasant. Generally we are extremely happy with the stay and the service.

The water pressure in the shower could be better plus adjustable shower head but generally I cannot complain

Right on the shore of Lago di Como , short walk to walking street and the piers for ship/boat/ferry for terrific lake excursion; top terrace has great panoramic view ; reasonably clean and comfortable for an old hotel... having elevator also helps...

No parking on site , hotel garage is 5 minute walk and requires additional fee, rooms(we had 4) are quite old and need refurbishment...
