This hotel is a bit from the side of the Baveno. But, it has pation. swimming pool and private beach, so you don't need to cross the road. It is really classy and luxurious. Classic design makes its impression of luxury and history on the lakeside of Lago Maggiore. Highly reccomend.

Service and food were very good except for the room service where we could not find the menu on the room IPad. Comfortable room with good linen. Great bathroom. Nice balconies. Excellent view from balconies over the lake.

Shortage of electrical sockets in the room and there were three of us each with two gadgets so had to unplug lights to use sufficient sockets. No mini-bar or refrigerator in the room. Having to pay for outside parking - part of which was insecure.

A very minor detail, but not in setting with the grand style of the hotel: no fresh flowers on the restaurant tables which thus seemed a little bare

Amenities in the room is a bit lacking. Expect more from a hotel of this status and price

Location is just perfect by the lake, I took the family suite with balcony lake view, it's marvelous, the hotel is beautiful with very nice decorations and facilities, I would really recommend it, the receptionists were very welcoming and they really did great job with helping me knowing the area and activities around.

Solid 4 star property with good location, private beach and gardens.

Room was mountain view/street view, so quite noisy. Bar staff unfriendly at times. Housekeeping placed personal hygiene items on bede: carelessness.

- the great value is surely the outdoor area, with the private beach and the swimming pool. Very nice indeed. - staff always ready to help - good drinks at the bar - everything very clean, both in the common areas and in the room

- spa and gym closed due to COVID restrictions. As far as I know, no law in Italy forbids such spaces, it could be organized with the necessary measures. We realized they were closed only there, because it was only written in the fine prints. With bad weather, it could have been nice to have access to those. Still today the facilities are highlighted in the Booking photos, which is misleading. - the economy room (220/night without breakfast) really felt as such: no coffee in the room, paper cups only, no complimentary sleepers or bathrobes, empty minibar, controls of the AC hardly working, TV super slow in changing channel, no plugs near the bed and cold led lights in the bathroom. In other words, nothing that makes you feel in a high standards hotel. - Free wifi is limited to 1GB/day, really ?! I have never seen limited wifi in hotels since the early 2000. - we booked one dinner at the hotel restaurant but we were not told that a wedding party was happening on the next room; the noise from the party did not make the dinner particularly nice Overall, I don’t feel like recommending the hotel but I am sure the management could easily fix the issues above.
