The room was spacious with all the amenities you would want when away from home. especially liked the four poster bed and large communal lounge

We had difficulty finding the hotel entrance and passed it twice before success. The table needed dusting and polishing in the room and was quickly remedied

Outstanding room, couldn't have asked for nicer. Lovely friendly staff who were all welcoming and helpful. Overall a great stay, already booked again.

The room was in a perfect position, very quite. excellent food, and fairly priced. Bar area comfortable but noisy.

On arrival, our room was not made up, so we ended up with another room, which turned out good, as there was a wake on the Saturday night and it was very noisy. The hotel itself was very old, and it showed in the decor inside and outside.

They didn’t seem interested in their paying guests. We booked a table for dinner but they had a party on and forgot to tell the chef we were coming and kept forgetting about us. The bathrooms weren’t very clean either. When we got down to breakfast 1/2 hour before it finished there was barely anything left we had to go out to a cafe and buy breakfast. Sadly we will not be going back or recommending this hotel. A very disappointing end to our holiday

Facilities : broken bedside lamp, broken blinds had to fix, faulty taps which you had to hold to turn on, shower absolutely useless unless you sat in the window sil also faulty tap, lumpy pillows need throwing, Mould black residue in the window frames. Service- you may need a bell to get their attention. Breakfast service well their was NONE had to go looking for something if anything to drink. When you found someone they were very Dull not sure they knew what I was talking when I asked for some tea. Tables- that's if you could find one that was clean or even clear of dirty dishes......NEVER RETURN ALL STAFF NEED TRAINING DO NOT BE FOOLED BY '4 IN A BED' AWARD THE NEXT PROGRAMME THEY NEED TO BE ON IS 'THE HOTEL INSPECTOR'

Annual trip to Llandod and stayed at CommD Definitely looking more tired and not very clean.

Booked 2 twin rooms. Given 2 doubles. Managed to change to a family room for 3 and a single room. Family room had no toilet paper. The toilet did not flush properly. The shower drain was blocked. Very noisy. Drunks outside until 1:00am

Staff were all very friendly and polite

Tv was very poor quality, took 5 mins to settle on a station. Shower was about as powerful as a poor tap! Our room wasn’t very clean, some hair in bathroom etc

Clearly a rather impressive building in former days but lacking a little TLC now. so seen better days. But the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. Plenty of safe parking. Good lounge. Breakfast plentiful and varied.

Some plumbing a little noisy.

Liked the mixture of old and new features around the hotel. Nice and warm. Comfy bed.

Breakfast was a bit disorganised but tasted ok. Could have done with the waitresses arriving a bit earlier. The WIFI didn't work at all during our stay.
