Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Si tratta di una guest house in un edificio che ha al piano terra un pub (un po' di confusione nel weekend ma tutto termina assai presto). Non offre breakfast ma in camera c'è un frigo che viene rifornito gratuitamente di tutto ciò che serve per la prima colazione. Letti comodi. Riscaldamento efficiente. Personale giovane e gentile. La stazione della metro dista 10 minuti a piedi.
Il bagno è molto londinese, ovvero piccolino. Ma comunque confortevole. La struttura non è semplice da trovare (senza maps etc).

It was a perfect location for what I wanted.
The bed was really comfortable and I slept well.
Good choice of breakfast in the room.

No electric socket by the bed for me to plug my phone in.
Hot tap on bathroom sink loose.
Shower had some black mould in the corners.
Would have like a choice of decaf tea/coffee.

Warm and friendly welcome from the team, Well proportioned room, with everything required for a night or two. Continental breakfast in the room was a nice touch. BIG towels. Very good food & beer in the oub downstairs
Bed was not the most comfortable, and probably needs new mattresses. Road noise (not much the hotel can do about this tbf) and the curse of Richmond - low flying aircraft en-route for Heathrow from 5:30am

Huge comfortable king-sized bed. Pub downstairs had excellent food and live music. A very cozy stay in Richmond, maybe 15 minute walk to the center of Richmond. Bus stops outside and 5-7 min walk from the train.

Hole place is closed till 12:00 I had to ask restaurant next door to contact them so I could leave my luggage.
And very noisy! Hardly slept.

Excellent location and super friendly and helpful staff. the Heng Heng restaurant was simply amazing.

Therooom was very well cleaned and the staff, what we saw of them, helpfull The location is excellent.
The working of the taps in the bathroom was a continued source of irritation. We are both over eightly and they were simply too stiff for us to turn. A staff member assisted us once but nothing was done to make them turn more easily.
But our main source of surprise was the difference between the impression given by the description of the place on the website and the reality. In effect the website gives the impression that this is a hotel when in reality it is simply offering a room with service. There was no food available, staff were only present for part of the day,and though it was possible to phone a staff member on at least three occasions there was no immediate response though I was told that staff would ring back, I did not leave a message since we were leaving the hotel. When I wanted a taxi to the airport I had to find one myself. While the pub itself offered refreshment not everyone likes pubs, my partner is an Israeli and has no taste for them.
I did not feel especially annoyed. We enjoyed Richmond and the room was well kept and reasonably comfortable.
I do not like complaining but I think the questions I have raised are real ones.

The overall experience was good and good value for money BUT
I had an extra 35 GBP deducted from my account, which after 2 emails the mgmt at the Red Cow have not explained or offered any feedback on. I find this really unacceptable and unfortunately leading to the overall poor rating.
UPDATE: After 3rd email management apologized and refunded the amount in full. Bar tab had been mistakenly assigned to our room
