The beach area is really unique with it's lounge chairs and thatched grass umbrellas situated on two jetties so you feel like you're on private little island, surrounded by water. Easy steps right into the water. Walking distance to restaurants or short drive. The manager treated us like royalty and as if we had stayed there multiple times.

Loved everything about it. We loved that the hotel has kept its 50s style, it’s almost like stepping back in time and it feels glamorous in a way that more modern hotels don’t. I hope that never changes! The room was big, attractive, clean, with a stunning view of the sea and Ischia itself; the shower pressure was great. Everything was spotlessly clean and well monitored for COVID. The staff are such an asset, we especially got to know the lifeguards and bartenders who were so lovely. The concierge was so helpful in booking our return journey. The breakfast buffet and all the snacks and cocktails we had were perfect. The shuttle to and from the port was such a nice touch. Loved the piano bar, it’s decor, drinks list, old school charm, music and sense of joy.

Some tiny things, the internet didn’t work for us and the spa lighting could be friendlier. There could be a notice warning for sea urchins in the water perhaps as I had a run in with one. Maurizio was incredibly kind in assisting me however.

Regina Isabella Hotel, has a special charming, is located in a wonderful and lovely place and has very good service. The staff is there to make you feel special and happy!
