This was the perfect place for a family getaway which included my family of 5, my mother and father, and my brother. The house had plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable, and the wi-fi was very good.
The beach access was amazing. There were never any crowds. There were even floats available to use in the water. When we left the beach, we would usually spend a few hours in the pool, which was large and seldom had many people.
We rented a car and drove to the local grocery store to cook in most nights. The grocery store is somewhat expensive, but that was to be expected on the island. A few nights we walked across to the Pink Octopus for dinner and/or drinks. The food there was great, too.
We hired Chef Everton to come cook for us one night, and that was a fun experience. He let us customize a menu based on his many suggested menus. He was friendly and enjoyable.
We also went on a few charters from the Palm Cay marina. They were a little pricey, but were the highlight of the trips. If you go, ask for Captain James!
The host was very responsive, helpful, and caring. He sent a great "guidebook" for the house with recommendations for food and activities. He checked into make sure we arrived okay, and would quickly respond to any questions we had.
All in all, I would give this house a 10/10 and would definitely rebook for another vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at Palm Cay. It was wonderful to be right on the beach! The house was comfortable for my family. I was there with my husband, our 3 kids, and my mother-in-law. We picked this home because everyone got to have their own bed.
The house had some games and puzzles, which we enjoyed. There were even some water and sand toys. I'm thinking they were just left by a previous guest, but maybe they are always there.
Communication was good. We received help when needed.
We did not choose to pay the resort visitor fee since we were right on the beach anyway. The free pool for this row of villas was marked "Adults only," but it was usually empty and no one ever asked my kids to leave, so we just used it anyway. We did eat at the Pink Octopus restaurant twice and visited the dockside cafe twice. We chartered a boat right at Palm Cay, so it was nice not to have to drive to get on a boat downtown Nassau. We also went to the playground several times and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. We visited the grocery store close by multiple times (by car).

The house was beautiful along with views!! Great place to chill and hang wi th family and or friends! Only things is there is charge to be in the pool and use the activities there which is a minimum of 3 days you have to purchase which is $20 person per day then an extra charge to rent things!

Lovely unit and just as described. The beach is beautiful. It was really quiet which was just what we wanted. It would be nice if there were other restaurants close by but we knew this when we booked. We just didn’t want to cook and did get tired of eating at the on site restaurant. The food at the restaurant was good. We didn’t rent a car but several of our neighbors did and they had no problems driving. We used Cheryl’s taxi service as recommended by the owner Mike and we highly recommend her company. Top notch. We felt totally safe and all of the locals that we met were so friendly. We would love to come back!

Absolutely unbeatable location and views. Can’t beat opening your sliding back door and walking onto the beach and into the beautiful water. Snorkeling right there on the rocks, paddle board and kayak rentals next door ($45 for the whole day). Quiet side of the island, which is exactly what we wanted. Easy 30 min drive into Nassau or Paradise Island. We had a rental car and explored a bit but Palm Cay was our favorite place to hang out and absolutely can’t beat the views. On site food at the breakfast/coffee spot was nice and convenient and we ate at the Pink Octopus 3 or 4 times during our stay and everything we tried was delicious. Rooms were spacious and fit our combined families of 8 people perfectly (2 grandparents, 2 kids, 4 younger adults) - beds were on the firmer side FYI. Great communication from the host. Absolutely loved our stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! Hope we can go back soon!

Terrific location and owner was super helpful with advice on how to enjoy the island. Our backyard was the beach which we essentially had to ourselves. Next store was a bar and restaurant. Favorite day of the week, was a boat trip. They picked us up at the marina and Palm Cay and we toured, snorkeled, spear fished and ate and drank all day.

Mike and the property were wonderful! Our family thoroughly enjoyed waking each morning and walking out onto a beautiful beach. The accommodations were perfect for our family of five! The highlight of our trip was chartering a boat from the Palm Cay Marina to Rose Island. Thank you Mike for everything!

Beautiful villa with unbelievable views of the water. Property is beach front so you only have to walk a few feet to the stunning water. The villa is very large with nice furniture and is very clean. The kitchen has all you need to cook simple dinners etc. The owner has a book with all the needed information for the villa, the property itself and the area. I suggest you use his suggestions. They were great. The location is close to everything and you can easily get anywhere around the island within 30 minutes or less. The property of Palm Cay has a great restaurant and bar. The staff were all friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The property is pristine with staff working on it everyday to keep it that way. Pools are nice as well.

The Villa was great for our family of 5. Our children are 20 and 16 year old twins. We had plenty of room and the view was amazing. The location was great and close to the beach club. Weather canceled two boat trips, but we still had fun relaxing on the beach those days. I highly recommend and will definitely return. If you want to be relaxed and away from crowds, this is your spot!

This is a wonderful beachfront property!! The house is surrounded by beautiful white sand and crystal blue water, and is equipped with everything you need for the perfect beach getaway! We enjoyed sipping coffee on the second floor balcony each morning and listening to the waves roll in each evening. Excellent snorkeling, as well! The resort-style restaurant was convenient with great service (order the pizza!) and the outdoor patio space was perfect for our family of four (with lots of space to spare). We ventured into Nassau a few times for activities and meals. We also utilized the host’s recommendation for a private guide for a day trip to Exuma…it was amazing!! We appreciated the responsiveness and communication from the house host, Mike. Five stars!

Amazing property with one of the best beaches on the island! Property is gorgeous and was very clean and furnished beautifully! My husband and I traveled with our adult children and their significant others. Close to grocery and plenty of great restaurants! Recommend Latitudes and The Poop Deck. Mike was a great host, and left a very detailed information package with everything from things to see and do and recommendations on restaurants and excursions. We had an amazing time! Our stay at Mike’s Palm Cay Villa was wonderful. It is a great location, away from it all, with beach and pools and a playground perfect for kids. Mike was super helpful and provided a great guide to the area. Highly recommend!

Palm Cay was great! Location right on the beach couldn’t be better! The amenities at the Palm Cay club were also a great addition which we weren’t expecting . We would definitely recommend Palm Cay to others!

This property was great. We stayed in a townhome right on the beach. The drive from the airport took about 40 minutes with traffic. Driving was overwhelming at first, but we acclimated quickly. Having a car at this location was essential for our trip. The home was very clean and well appointed. Check in was simple and the hosts welcome information was thorough and useful. The beds were comfortable and the layout allowed us all to have space to call our own. There are lots of towels and a big washing machine, plenty of cookware and the appliances are in great shape and are easy to use. The grocery store is very close. Travellers should take advantage of the Pink Octopus (their pizza is delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful). We did takeout and ate on site and both experiences were great. The Dockside cafe is also very good. The beach is amazing and the Palm Cay resort felt very safe and secluded. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back to this location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Mike’s beautiful beach home. Right on the water in a gated community. No crowds, just enough people to be a friendly experience. An incredible spot to soak in the sun and relax. Mike was always available for help and his suggestions were all spot on. We’ll be back.

Wonderful stay!!
The pictures are exactly what we found. It was a great stay in the gated community. It is on the East side so it takes a little longer to get to activities however it is so peaceful it is worth it. The staff is very friendly. We rented the Marlin with Captain Rick to go see the Green Sea turtles. We ate at the Pink Octopus and also got take out from there. We took Mike's recommendations for most everything. Cheryl's taxi is fantastic and always on time. Chef Kelsha provided dinner on 2 evenings and it was wonderful!!
I was glad I canceled my rental car and used Cheryl's due to the traffic and the roads - it was a less stressful vacation by doing so.
The Villa itself is fantastic. Had everything we needed. The view was superb. It was so relaxing and pretty quiet. We did have neighbors and never heard anything while indoors.
Mike was always prompt with communication if I had a question.
Being in a gated community made us feel very safe. I can't say enough about how great the Villa was.

We were two families and enjoy our stay a great deal. Amazing location just steps away from the water. They gated community makes you feel safe and the club and restaurant is also steps away. The kitchen appliances need an up grade but i guess that happens with many people using them.

Perfect location steps away from the beach!
Perfect location! Beautiful beach just steps away. Needs a little updating and the 4th bedroom doesn’t have a door separating the 3rd bedroom which was disappointing. Overall, we loved it and already booked our returning trip!

Fantastic
We had a wonderful time visiting Billabong in September. This was our second visit to Palm Cay and it was lovely to be back. Mike was a fantastic host, very communicative before and during our stay, and we appreciated him showing up at the door with a whole Library of books for Andrew to plough through!
The setting is absolutely stunning and the villa is very well equipped with everything you could need. A taxi stop at Solomon's supermarket and the lovely restaurant and bar next door are everything you need for a relaxing week.

Perfect Getaway
We had a wonderful time at Billabong! We were two families with two kids each. Each family took a floor. Highly recommend a boat tour with island adventures. The house has most of what you need and we did cook a few times. Restaurant and cafe offer snack/meal options. Kids enjoyed snorkeling around the rocks and the pool. Recommend having an inner tube or purchasing at the cafe for floating. We didn’t do the chef but other residents did recommend it.
Also, for anyone with concerns about Covid testing while you’re there - ask the spa about the testing - they make it very convenient for you and come right to your villa! Bring your vaccine cards to the restaurants for indoor dining!
I think we are all in agreement on how amazing this place is!! Billabong is beautiful inside and out! Very well kept and clean! The pictures do not do the beach justice. It’s breathtaking! The owner of the property, Mike, is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area and things to do! He was very nice throughout the booking process and while we were there. We can’t say enough good things about our stay! We cannot wait to return!
