I don't understand how this is a 1 star.. The value for money is incredible. Great location, friendly staff, private parking for the hotel and great breakfast options. It's slightly old fashioned but it's clean so not sure why that would matter. We were even surprised to see the rooms are cleaned daily too!! Would definitely recommend this hotel :)

family run Hotel is well located in centre of small town right next to main bus stop and quite close to the beaches room was big for a single with a large ensuite , nice south facing balcony , no view to speak of but a degree of privacy , good internet coverage , really nice receptionist with great english (catalan is very difficult to understand) really nice cafe/bar below accommodation Breakfast was extensive in choice and delightful even offering anchovies prepared by the owner/family, a really nice touch ,really nice coffee , and all representing very good value

very difficult to find any fault , wish i had found this hotel earlier in my travels , only the daughter working on reception spoke english , only catalan/spanish/french spoken by all staff

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beaches and the fact that it has private parking is a huge bonus. I first had a room that had a little bt of seaview, but also overlooking a main street, so for me it was too loud. I asked for a room change, and I got a room overlooking the inner courtyard/parking lot as soon as one was available. That room was great too, and a lot more quiet. Miquel and his daughters, Claudia and Ariadna were super helpful and professional with everything. I would stay there again.

The only very little thing that I missed was a fridge in the room. It is a holiday place, so to have a place to cool some water and anything you buy in the supermarket would be very helpful. But even without this, Can Catala is a great place to stay.

Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Helped us by clearing a parking space in their car park. Very good value. Very close to the lovely old town.

For people with walking issues, it is quite a walk to the old town beach.

Good selection for breakfast. Good location and comfortable air conditioned rooms. Friendly family run hotel that I would highly recommend.
