Spacious, comfortable clean apartment, lovely pool, great location at the edge of the village

Perfect stop on the way to Portugal. Very friendly people.

Conventiently located for various places we wanted to visit in the area.

Close to quite active road, though this not busy overnight.

A lovely, large, and well equipped apartment. A dog bed and bowl was provided.

The walls and floor are paper thin. We could hear people in the adjoining room as if they were in our room. There was an extremely loud party in the bar/restaurant directly below us, which started in the afternoon and went on until midnight. The noise was so loud the foor and walls were vibrating. We could'nt hear each other talk unless we shouted, so obviously couldn't read, watch television or do anything else. We should have been told about this party at the time of booking so we could have found alternative accommodation. Apart from this, the place was lovely.

Off road parking. Staff showed me where to walk dog & made sure I knew how to work aircon/heating.

Prebooked, therefore they knew to expect a British guest. Reception closed, Message on reception door in Spanish-rang number in middle of message which seemed to go to private residence. Third person on phone told me to wait until someone arrived to book me in. To be fair, only waited 5-10 mins before someone turned up, but not what you want after a 600km drive from Santander.

The beds were comfortable and warm enough for winter. My adult daughter was happy that it was a proper bed, not a pullout or a sofa bed. The bathroom was very clean and had a great shower, plenty of hot water. There is free secure parking at the back of the property. The location is good if you come off the ferry at Santander/Bilbao in the morning and you are heading south towards Portugal. Badajoz and the border are only an hour's drive away. There is a Mercadona supermarket about 20 minutes drive.

The room a bit small for three people. It was too dark and cold to find a restaurant nearby, so we had a supermarket picnic in the room instead.
