Not quiet, old, smell like cigarettes smoking. Very uncomfortable bed

I liked that extending my stay was smooth.
I didnt like how the guy at the front didnt understand english.It was hard to communicate what I was asking for.I think the bed had bedbugs I had bites on me..The bed isnt comfortable..
There was no extra towels.I didnt know how to put the AC on

There was a bed and a working AC. The location is pretty good.

Horrible service. Had to scream at the reception for 30 minutes to get my booking. Had to find it myself on their dairy only for them to tell me they didn't have the room(twin bedroom). I asked for my money back and they wouldn't give it back. Instead he tried to convince us that we didn't "need" the room we booked and we should get a double bed instead(lol). After a lot of arguing they gave us two separate rooms to compensate and the guy even said we took advantage of them.

Cybele hotel is located some 15 min walking from Kifissia metro station. Tavernas in Pefki are also some 15 min away from the hotel. Athens international airport can be reached in 30 min by car. Across the quiet road, you will find a supermarket open till 9 pm which allows you to buy your breakfast goodies.
The large room was spotless with a sliding double window pane opening on a large parking provided free of charge, a rarity in shambolic Athens.

Very clean room, good facilities for the price. Good a/c, fridge was a bonus and a good shower. I would recommend it to friends.
Location is a bit inconvenient to the centre of town and needs a taxi to get there.

A very value for money accommodation with decent decoration and clean.
The cigarette smell. Gives the impression of not clean and fresh and it is not very pleasant to sleep.

The location was perfect for my clinic appointment.
Be prepared that the older gentleman at reception doesn't speak English and there can be misunderstandings regarding length of stay and booking payment.
However the man who was at the reception the following morning and the female employee I met in front of my room they both speak English. The lady in particular was very helpful in solving a booking related issue I had.
I only stayed for one night and I was a bit cold. Had I stayed longer I would have asked for a second woolly blanket for the night and I'm sure they would have given me another one.

The location near the clinic that I had treatment and cross the road have a big supermarket.
Kifisia town only 20 mins walk
No kettle at the room and also the bed is a bit hard

The hotel is very basic, but it's clean. It got a little loud late evening and early morning as, I presume, there are people returning and going to work, but it was quiet during the night.
Simply furnished and very clean.
Also, there is a supermarket just across the road.

The look and feel of a cheap hotel for an average price (Note: this was during Covid-19, when many hotels lowered their prices).
The air conditioner made noise like a Boeing 747.
The air conditioner could not keep the room cool during a heatwave.

The Hotel receptionist asked 10 euros extra for check in earlier than 14.30 .I didnt agree so to "punish me' she DID NOT APPEAR AT 14.30 WHEN I RETURNED left me waiting for 45 minutes!!! ,no one else on the hotel!!! telephone ringing,
all hotel empty of people, like a ghost town.After all these i left for another hotel.I demand my money for services paid in advance and never received.Worst choice ever.

A cup of tea was offered by staff upon our arrival.
Particularly, Mrs Eirini, the caretaker was wonderful.

Value for money, good location near metro, super market other side of the road. Clean room for low budget, excellent if you have things to do and just need a place to sleep evenings
