The room was not to the price standard. Unfortunately, this is an owner owned property and Customer Service was not to a rate standard.

We arrived and tried to enter the gates via the intercom. The intercom system was a recorded message stating that it was trying to connect us. The system rang and then stated that there was no answer. We were already late and this caused us twenty five minuets waiting outside. We tried and tried and still the system rang and rang stating that there is no answer. Eventually somebody came to the iron gates to throw out the garbage and matter of factly stated,..... Ahh yes, that system does not work but you should have received a message giving you a code. We had not and anyway, after booking, we travelled. There was no apology or concern that we had been severely delayed and effectively spoilt our stay. It was my wifes birthday and we were very late for our dinner appointment. The rooms are very tired indeed. There is quaint and there is just plain old and unmaintained. Most annoying was no apology.

very comprehensive continental breakfast. Fantastic beds and decor. Beautiful setting.

TV remote did not work. Room rather dusty though bathroom immaculate. Host professional only. Room set up for two people not three re drinks etc.

The chateau was perfect for our stay. An enjoyable walk to the train station, where the train went into Nantes. Parking at the station if you don't want to walk to it. Close to the airport too. We had a lovely large room and the staff were very pleasant. Have recommended to friends and would definitely go back if going to the area again.

The entrance is already very special with automated gate. The landscaping is beautiful and many of the trees have a story to tell. Patricia told us that is was the garden that attracted her attention where the building was the reason for Philippe to purchase this elegant chateau some 8 years ago. They are doing a wonderful job in keeping the character alive and this is what attracted us most.
