The villa was ideal for a large family including a baby and a 3 year old . All safety gates installed. Loads of space and well equipped. The bedrooms were amazing with comfy beds. It is ideally situated to walk to the beach and the lovely town square. Which had lots of character and small winding streets.

We had the best time at Casa Rosina! The villa was perfect for our family, including two small children. We loved the pool, the location was amazing, and overall had a blast. We would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay here, Villa was big enough for all the quests and pool was awesome. Some of the necessities like toilet paper or trash bags were in limited in supplies but other than that we enjoyed our stay very much.

This villa is just perfect, we were 6 friends of over 40 years, the villa is spacious and has everything you need. The pool is lovely and we had lovely late nights sitting under the fairy lights in the bar by the pool. Ferragudo is lovely and a great base for seeing the Algarve. Would highly recommend

This lovely townhouse is at the top of the hill up many twisty little roads, in a neighborhood that reminds me of Florida—lots of white townhouses stacked up the hill. This is an expat retirement community so not much of the original Portuguese fishing community feel left. The townhouse is 4 levels—a rooftop sun deck with views of the ocean, three bedrooms (master with bath, 2 bedrooms with shared bath) on the 1st floor (2nd story to people from the US), open living room/dining room with well stocked kitchen on the ground floor, with lovely deck, then walkout basement with two bedrooms and shared bathroom, exits to the pool level on the final lower level. The house is sunny and spacious—definitely made for large groups. Beautiful pool and large sitting area, BBQ, lemon trees. There are lots of stairs, so if people in your group have problems with stairs, be forewarned. It was very comfortable. It’s about a 45 minute drive to Sagres. There are lots of restaurants just down the hill—east walk— and the beach is a 10 minute walk. The port area is lovely. Perfect home if you want a sun/pool/beach vacation. The owner Gina is super easy to communicate with, very nice. Easy checkin. Just note that the lower walkout basement does have a mildew smell common in seaside places.

We had a wonderful stay for 8 nights in the quaint active fishing community in Portugal. 4 couples and had a blast. Gina was a great host who was very quick to respond to questions. Never over promised and under delivered. We got exactly what we expected. Would definitely rent there again if we go back to that area.

Perfect for a couple of families
Great villa in a great spot, perched on the top of the hill in Ferragudo with a short walk to the main square and a short walk to the main beach.
Swimming pool area was beautiful and felt private, lined with some lemon trees which all added to the charm.
Kitchen terrace perfect for breakfast and lunch to get out of the sun.
Roof terrace absolutely perfect for those early evening glasses of wine.
A few bits of furniture were starting to fray around the edges, but I'm sure that will be taken care of in time for the new holiday season next year (plus the front door sticks a bit, nothing a bit of sanding down wouldn't take care of).
All in all, bar some small cosmetic improvements (which won't detract from your stay) it was perfect for what we needed it for - local restaurants all excellent (the Indian in the square is actually the pick of the bunch) and the check in process was completely smooth, arranged via Whatsapp.

Beyond our expectations!
Everything about Casa Rosina was amazing! Gina your home is beautiful and very clean. We had a group of 8 of us the first two weeks (my husbands family). When they .... hated to leave....my family arrived, group of seven of us. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. If we weren’t touring around we stayed and enjoyed the huge private pool. At night we sat outside around the fire pit.
Not only was the house exceptional, but the whole area of Ferragudo was beautiful and easy access to everything within walking. The village square had lots of restaurants and gift shops. Also visited all the local pubs at night. Ashley, the pub owner, gave my brother-in-law a guitar and he entertained the crowd. Everyone loved his playing and singing. He even offered him another gig to come back lol!
We had a few cars rented for touring to other places, but you could easily just stay there for two weeks without a car, lots to do within walking. Beach bars were lots of fun. We hiked the coastline to Carvoeiro. The boys rented mountain bikes for three days and were gone for the day. The girls took the water taxi to Portimao for some shopping.
Thank you again Gina! And was so nice to meet Kerstin, Manager, she is a lovely person.
Hope to return one day for longer than a month.

Lovely getaway
We had a wonderful time in this well-maintained property. Kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfy, and Gina was very easy to get in touch with. I loved the lemon and orange trees surrounding the pool, and we made daily lemonade and orange juice! We walked to town and the beach daily. Thanks for a great time - we would definitely come back!

Lovely Property and Location
This is a lovely property in a very pretty location. The villa is well equipped with lovely pool area. The bedrooms were very pretty. We had a three year old with us so the games cupboard was well used in the evenings. Ferragudo is small and not overly touristy. The square full of bars is delightful. The beaches are nearby and again delightful. The locals and the tourists were all very friendly. We were sorry we were only there for a week. I would certainly recommend this villa and the help from both Gina and Kerstin. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We have just had a fabulous 2 week stay in Casa Rosina in Ferraguda. Six adults and 4 children.
W really enjoyed the pool and there was plenty of breakout spaces if you wanted some time away from other guests. Really recommend it

Beautiful property and area
I cannot recommend this property enough. We travelled in a party of 12 as a family with young children. Kerstin the property manager was fantastic from day one when we had issues with our hire cars at the airport and she couldn't help us enough. Ferragudo is beautiful and if you are a fish lover get down to the harbour where the fish come straight off the boats onto the barbecue. The beaches in and around Ferragudo are fantastic for all whether you're on a family holiday or romantic break. The villa itself was perfect, set on 3 three floors with an additional roof terrace it comfortably housed 12 of us. The pool was very popular and we are already missing it. There is a lovely little bar area next to the pool along with a barbecue and the pool is lined with lemon and lime trees. We are already planning a return to this area and if this property was available again we would definitely snap it up. Big thank you to Gina pre holiday for all your useful information and to Kerstin during the holiday for your help. We would all highly recommend this villa.

Exceeded our expectations
Casa Rosina was everything we had hoped for in our holiday property and more. It is ideally positioned in Ferragudo just a short walk down the prettiest street to the town and a short walk down the hill the other way to the beach. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lots of fridges, which we loved. The family also loved the pool and the bar area where we spent a lot of time. Communication with Gina , the owner, and Kersten, the lady who manages it out there for them, was good at all times. They were both very helpful and thoughtful.
I can't recommend it highly enough and am sure we will return.

It’s all about the pool!
Great location for town and beach. Noisy though with constant dog barking and seagulls. House has good accommodation for 8 but struggles a bit with the full 12. Unfortunately the plumbing was having problems during our stay which didn’t help. Could do with a good clear out of accumulation of things previous occupants have left behind. Pool box and old takeaway boxes spring to mind. Pool area lovely although spoilt a bit by broken plant pots and needs sweeping most days. Roof terrace a bit unloved but could be really nice. Some cleaning things would have been a nice touch as we were there for 11 days and a quick clean round every couple days would have kept things a bit fresher. All in all a good house for location, fab pool and good social areas.

Fabulous Villa in a peaceful location
Our family of 9 enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa. We found it to be better than what was described as they had upgraded 2 bathrooms and they were beautiful. We spent most of our time around the fabulous pool area and enjoying the bar with a great fridge which kept the beers chilled nicely 😎. The kitchen has everything you would need, although we ate out most nights. The villa is situated at the end of a very quiet street, only a short walk to the beach and the village square where you find restaurants, bars and a few shops. Thank you for our basket of goodies on arrival which was a lovely touch. All in all a fabulous week spent at Casa Rosina and would highly recommend it to anyone, my only negative ... the week went in far too fast. Thanks for everything

Wonderful family spot
Lovely location, house is as described and has all that you need to fit large or multi family vacation, plenty of room to sleep, hang out and play by the pool. Nice starter basket was on hand to help us get started on our holiday and local shop /bakery was a close walk away and larger grocery only a few minutes drive. Kids and adults loved the whole vacation and house. Nice cozy town with great restaurants by the beach one called Club Nau (great views of beach and cocktails) recommended by owner was great we went twice. Property is well situated to go east and west in Algarve, we day tripped to Lagos and Tavira and found a great natural SPA Salino, salt baths with mineral mud would recommend this as an add on to a day trip to Tavira or Faro. Highly recommend Casa Rosina and would book again. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

beautiful Villa great location
A beautiful and very well appointed villa with absolutely everything we could possibly need for our stay. We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us around the villa and gave us super information with regards to the area. This delightful villa was perfect for our family holiday; we chose to pay extra to have the fabulous pool heated which was worth every penny. There is only one reason that I have given 4 stars; this is due to the area around the bbq including the table, Chairs, sunloungers and tiles all alongside the pool in that area were dirty; we tried washing and brushing these items/areas but could not clean it as it needs power washing. We were unable to use that particular table and chairs but this did not spoil our holiday, we loved every minute of it. A bit of time spent on power washing would be time well spent

Wonderful Vacation
This home is beautifu. Perfect for our family of 8. The heated pool made the vacation so relaxing. House was clean and well equipped. Loved our walks to town and eating breakfast on the plaza. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and Gina was easy to correspond with.

Mixed experience
This is a place suited best to families of young children or groups of young adults wanting a summer holiday. Great pool and outdoor living but the interior is somewhat tired and functional - heavy plastic on the dining chairs for example. Limited living room seating. Kitchen is well stocked. Location is very good and very quiet at night.

A Blissfully Stress -Free Holiday
We stayed at Casa Rosina in August 2018 and absolutely loved our stay. The owner was so helpful and quick to respond to any queries leading up to the holiday, and even organised transport to take us from the airport to the villa. Consequently, our journey both to and from Ferragudo was blissfully stress free. The villa was beautifully presented, with the manager there to greet us and explain how things worked. The villa was immaculate with essentials, such as bread and milk – even wine – to help us quickly settle in. On arrival, the small details in décor and comfort made you feel totally at home, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. We were a big group, but the villa is spacious and well laid out, and so we were never on top of each other. The teenagers loved the pool, and there was plenty of seating areas and sun loungers for us to comfortably relax in the sun and shade. The villa is perfectly situated for the town (a few minutes stroll away) and the beach (a 10 minute stroll), and we really enjoyed not having to drive to eat out. The town and beach has plenty of lovely cafes and restaurants, and the atmosphere was bubbly and relaxed. Perfect holiday vibe. We have booked again for 2020 and are really looking forward to our stay. In fact, we cannot wait!

The villa was everything we were looking for; proximity to town and beach and easy drive to POIs.
The house was roomy and very comfortable for our group of 7 adults. The pool area was a big plus with plenty of new outdoor furniture, a grill and a feeling of privacy. The kitchen was well-stocked for our cooking needs. Aside from a few burnt out lightbulbs, everything was clean and in working order. Kerstin, the property manager was friendly available and accommodating. Although the en suite bathroom could use some remodeling to be considered "luxury", this was not a big issue for us. We would most definitely recommend Casa Rosina to anyone wanting a convenient Algarve location and a beautiful, private home to relax in with friends and family!

Beautiful Ferragudo
Beautiful spot. House was immaculate . Met at door by Kersten who showed us the villa and where things were in the town. It was our 40 th anniversary and there was a bottle of wine and beer in the fridge and a basket of goodies. The beach was only a 10 min walk and the town square 5 min away. There were 9 of us and we all had our own space. Pool was a definite plus as it was very hot . Would definitely recommend to stay here.

When can we come back?
We are five friends who have just returned from a week at Casa Rosina. What can I say, but it was perfect. The bright and spacious villa gave us all that we needed. Showers with great water pressure and comfortable beds are taken for granted at home, you’ll find them here too.The rooftop gave us wonderful sunrises. The kitchen contained everything needed, the corkscrew was broken and one purchased locally wasn’t that good so maybe take one in case. The kitchen-terrace was our spot for breakfast and the poolside area was our place to return to in the evening. I turned into a water baby this holiday as the pool was so warm and inviting. The additional ground floor kitchen was a true bonus. Then there is Ferragudo it’s self. Two beautiful local beaches and local shops and restaurants meant you wouldn’t need to leave, but with easy and cheap water taxis you will want to explore. Get the train to Lagos from Portimão......definite recommendation. We all felt a week was not enough and so would gladly return. Thank you Gina for sharing this beauty.

fabulous for family or friends holiday
Visited Casa Rosina with ten friends for a special birthday celebration. It was perfect 👌 the villa is spacious and clean with lovely decor. Plenty of room and different areas to relax. Loved the sun trap roof terrace for quiet reading and outdoor bar area and bbq which was very sociable. The pool was warm and beautifully lit at night 😀 Easy to book and nice that this villa is owned by an English family so communication was easy and recommendations of things to do and places to eat very forthcoming if required . Transfers also perfectly organised for us. Many thanks, had a lovely time. Ferragudo is magical, Casa Rosina is wonderful. Definitely be back next year and definitely recommend

Stunning internal layout, comfortable furniture and child friendly facilities
We were recommended to stay in Ferraguda so we looked for a villa large enough for 6 adults and 5 children, 2 of these were infants. We discovered this villa during our search and were not disappointed. The villa is laid out over 3 floors and has ample room for everyone with 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms. Large well equipped kitchen, though we ate out most nights but everything there to make other meals. We chose to have the pool heated during our stay as it was early in the season which proved worthy with having the little ones as they were in the pool everyday all the time, it was a struggle getting them out to have tea then go to bed.
It's location was in a quiet cul-de-sac which was ideal with having the infants in bed early and only a 10 minute walk into the main square where all the restaurants were brilliant.
The lemons on the trees in the garden were delicious with gin and tonic on an evening while sitting in the pool/bar area relaxing after a busy day.
There is plenty to do in the resort and this was the ideal base for us to stay and we would not hesitate in recommending and staying in the villa again

A holiday to remember - Perfect
The house was just perfect, beautifully decorated, very spacious. It was well stocked with everything that one could imagine that was needed for a perfect stay. We would certainly recommend this villa and we will be back that's for sure. Kristin who looked after the accommodation was on hand and available for any questions we had.

A fantastic villa in beautiful setting
Casa Rosina is a beautiful villa with plenty of character. Perfect for 10 people, we had everything we needed. Very spacious rooms and a great outdoor area for lazing around and spending times at the bar in the evenings. Ideal location to walk to restaurants, the beach, shops and beautiful Portuguese architecture. Can't wait to go again.
