Excellent location - my room overlooked the castle. Parking was easy in the pub next door and all information was given before arrival.
All good

Easy to find, convenient to pubs. Hostess very accommodating. Also 5 minutes away from hospital where surgery was scheduled.
Traffic noise, but it wasn’t a big problem during night. Earplugs were even provided!

My Queen & I enjoyed our stay at the Fitzwarine House.
The owner - a lovely woman.
The view from the window as we dreamed of.
An extremely charming place for the weekend.
The building is old and that gives it charm.
If Someone is a fan of modernity and all kinds of comfort, let him look for another object and not spoil the opinion.
The only downside is that we were there far too short.

Nothing
Paid for breakfast and had a small bap with 2 tiny sausage, 2 rasher of bacon and an egg which my partner was asked to go to the shop and get. The room was on a slant as the bed and dresser were literally on a angle, floor boards were loud and the bed was terribly uncomfortable.

The B&B is quite an experience. It's so unlike almost any other you're likely to find. The house is extremely old, and as well as a B&B, it's very much a home complete with 3 cats.
Our room-3 was spacious and very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a bath and a shower and again, was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our room was at the back. The house itself is roadside.
There is parking right next to the house.
We were offered fresh milk to take to the room.
Breakfast saw a choice of cereals and cooked food.
Whittington Castle is opposite, and it's worth popping over to the café, and for a walk around the ruin. Grass areas allow for a picnic too.
If you want to experience somewhere/something different, this is definitely a must.
We would return if in the area.
A word of warning about the stairs-they are very steep and narrow.

I had a packed breakfast from the owner as I had a very early start for the Shropshire Triathlon. The bed was very comfy and I had a good nights slep

Location was perfect for daughters wedding at the castle opposite. Breakfasts were very tasty and delivered to the room at the requested time. Room 3 was clean and quiet and had plenty of extras. Host was friendly and helpful. Fresh milk always available.
The rooms were rather quirky as being an old building the floors, stairs etc were very uneven. My husband had great difficulty with the narrow stairs due to a mobility problem. There was no WiFi signal or mobile phone signal for us in room 3 although okay in other rooms. Very noisy from traffic in room 1 where my daughter stayed but beautiful castle view.

The host was very pleasant and did everything to make our stay very enjoyable, supplied us with requested morning fruit juices, there was a great pub up the road The White Heart with fantastic food and friendly staff, Castle across the road had great history.
There was no toilet brush in the bathroom

Quaint & old with lovely views
Appearance from the front door and Windows looked a little grubby . Bit deceiving .

Debbie was very nice and helpful. Beds comfortable and the room clean and warm.
Tasty breakfast brought to the room.
Wifi did not work at all in room 3 but considering how thick the walls are it was not surprising. Took it as a chance to have a much-needed digital break :)

Lovely host, very friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely and clean, very comfortable bed, breakfast was delicious. Looking forward to staying in the future. The location was fantastic it was so nice to sit and look out of our window to the view of the castle.

Cupboard and drawer space for clothes etc. Breakfast overcooked. adequate, Served in room with inadequate table and chair for comfort of eating

Immaculate and comfortable room, friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. Close to two nice pubs and over the road from the castle. We had a really good stay.
Close to the road so you can hear the traffic in the village.

Bed a little old

The shower was good
No breakfast available had a small bacon roll delivered to our door in a paper bag with 1 small bottle of orange juice between us with no glasses offered had to drink from bottle . 1 of the glasses in room was dirty with someone’s mouth mark on it . Floor very squeaky in room all over and outside the view was of old cars .

Debbie and her cats are wonderful hosts, the rooms are reasonably sized and decorated in a modern tasteful manner - and spotlessly tidy. Plenty of tea and coffee making facilities - with Debbie providing little glass extra bottles of milk, with many fresh towels, face cloths and toiletries available.
Debbie provided a great breakfast and lunch pack (which I requested in stead of breakfast due to an appointment) - even with Covid restrictions and it being provided to the room, there is a selection of hot rolls, yoghurt, porridge, fruit, cereal bars and juices.
For evening meals and drinks there is a lovely pub next door, which serves lovely food and a reasonable price!
I would also like to mention how Covid savvy Debbie is with her business, there are numerous bottles of alcohol gel and surface wipes and cleaners available throughout the property - with her visibly antibacterial wiping all surfaces to ensure cleanliness!
Electric shower was noisy - felt rather bad for the other guests when using it
The B Road is quite busy until 10pm... but the views over the castle, moat and pond make up for it

Very creaky floor above us with someone walking about from 5am one day.

Quaint and absolutely spotless. The host was brilliant very welcoming and accommodating letting us park our motorbikes at the back and sorting breakfast in the garden. Lovely to see the castle from our window and next to a good pub with excellent food.
It was nice to be at the front with the view of the castle but had to shut the window due to traffic noise but it did quieten down reasonably early.

My wife had a very enjoyable stay at Fitzwarine House, the facilities were excellent and the cleanliness superb, enjoying a lovely walk around the castle a perfect end to a busy day on business.
