A lovely little cottage behind the main house with a beautiful garden & fish pond. The hosts were very friendly when we met them. The place was very clean & plenty of towels were provided. It was only a short walk away from the city center with it's shops, restaurants & historical bits. A couple of friends popped in for tea & were so impressed that they are going to recommend this cottage for friends who visit them to stay in.

Direction could be clearer. The property cannot be seen from the road. In the information it should state that entrance to the property is through the gate/garden door numbered 44 on North Road. Also be aware that the road has no signage and confusingly changes into North Street. The owner is advised that the kitchen tap needs securing more firmly as it loose. The shower heating is also slightly variable. However, given these minor suggestions we enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again if we visit the area again

Great location for the centre of Ripon

Very bijou but fine for a couple of days.

The location was spot on 10 minutes walk to town centre the house was lovely the young man that was there to greet us was very helpful and a pleasant young man..i

I honestly couldn't find anything wrong. Just Lovely. For a small house the facilities in the kitchen was super every thing from a microwave to a oven plus a gas hob anyone wanting to do cooking there was everything you needed.

Small but well equipped cottage for two people. The host was lovely and the location ideal to access Ripon centre on foot.. Having use of the garden for breakfast and in the evening when we got home, was very relaxing. The off-street parking space was welcome too.

The mattress was too firm for us but the host has recognised that this has come up before and will address it.

Cosy cottage just big enough for two people.It has a lovely cottage garden where we enjoyed sitting in the beautiful hot sunshine. Spotlessly clean with two gas jobs, electric oven and separate microwave. Friendly but professional couple who own cottage live just across the garden.

Personally, I didn't like the foam mattress.

The bed and pillows were well past there sell by date very uncomfortable.the bedroom was in the attic I knocked my head 4 or 5 times,on the low beam ,at the top of the steep stairs was a small step before the main stair,both me and my husband fell down ,we were lucky not to fall down the rest of the stairs,

Location was perfect. All I all very good. Would thoroughly recommend. The owner was very attentive

Charming interactive hosts with a well presented cottage close in a private garden and close to public transport. Loved my stay.

So cosy, it has been decorated so lovely. The underfloor heating was great too. Bed was comfy and the shower was hot. The kitchen was very well equipped also. Even milk in the fridge upon arrival which was a great bonus.

The Wi-fi just didn’t work. On both of our phones. Which is fine for a night or two but maybe something to be sorted out.
