Nice location ideal for our stay. Nice clean apartment.

Only a fridge with no freezer compartment and in hot weather could do with this facility🙁. No mirror in twin room. 🙁No dressing tables in either room.🙁no hooks in main bathroom for hanging towels☹️

Location was perfect for Ballater and plenty of parking. Very quiet location. Plenty of good quality pubs, restaurants and coffee shops near by. Also close to very good walks.

Bed linen was a bit tired. I don't know if there has recently been a lot of breakages but there was only 2 breakfast/dessert bowls, no mixing bowls. It would of been helpful to have a manual for the washing machine.

The position of the property and the views over the river

We could not get the shower in the main bathroom to work and the TV remote in the main bedroom needs a new battery

Location was great. Living room window looked out onto the river Dee. Loved sitting with my coffee in the morning chilling.

Towels could have been better there wasn't a hand towel for the main bathroom. No washing up liquid or tea towels in the kitchen.

Excellent location, the apartment was clean and well equipped. Spoke to owner on arrival via phone and he was very helpfuland friendly. Would definitely stay again

Nice and warm; well taken care of. The location was amazing, right by the river. I couldn’t have chosen a more picturesque place to spend the holidays. We will return at some point.

Montclaire is well located by the river within walking distance of all that Ballater has to offer. The apartment was cosy. Nespresso machine and pods were an asset.

The floors and the fridge were not very clean. Some instructions for the dishwasher and washing machine would have been helpful. Hand wash, more washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, and an extra toilet roll for each bathroom would have been appreciated.

Great base to visit old friends in Balmoral and play a couple rounds of golf. Great base and would definately use again.

Front door is hard to open with the key.

The key box was very difficult to find. There was no milk and only 3 tea bags. It was cold

Quiet, comfortable stay with a good location

There were cleaning issues with the apartment. The hob and especially the oven were in poor condition, needing a very good clean. We were only there a couple of days and didn’t need to use the oven however it would have been an issue if we were staying longer. There were some other small cleaning issues. However, these shortcomings are easily fixed and would not put me off booking in the future.

Good location, just a short walk to the main square. Comfortable throughout, great views aswell.

Only slight disappointment was the shower.

Location and cleanliness - and bottled water in fridge and snacks un cupboard

A lack of wine glasses - but to be fair other glassware was available

Location excellent as were the facilities in the apartment (or at least those that were working!)

Washing machine was broken, owner offered to reimburse cost of going to laundrette but we decided not to take the offer up. No clothes airer in the apartment which would have been useful to dry our hand washing

Very comfortable flat in a perfect location. Everything that you could need for a comfortable stay was there. I contacted the host with a question and he could not have been more helpful. Happy to recommend.

Had a few issues on arrival: could not get keys from safe box since the apartment had not been cleaned by the time we arrived and the code had not been reset. This was quickly attended to and a partial refund provided. Made a few other suggestions directly to the owner.
