The view was fantastic from the room and from the terrace where dinner was served. There are two room sizes. We had a double superior room that had plenty of room on the 2nd floor with the lovely sounds of waves at night. Ac and Wi-Fi worked great and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was upgraded and the shower was great. Some older reviews mentioned smells but they had some problems in the town that had been corrected and we did not experience any smells. Breakfast was good with a number of options. We did not use the beach area but it was set up well and was a great opportunity to jump in the sea steps from your beach chair.

Dinner was great for the first meal but for the second meal we did not ask enough questions and were disappointed since the menus were only in Italian. The waiters and owner speak good English and are happy to help if you ask. We were concerned because the Booking.com rating was lower than places where we normally stay but we were pleasantly surprised and is the reason for my long review.

Beach location was fantastic!

The rooms are so tiny and the bathrooms too. Showers are so small.

Staff very friendly, location the best. Walking distance to the port with easy access to bars and restaurants. Great view of the sea from all the rooms. Beach was OK given the nature of the location although maybe a bit better maintenance would make it better.

My biggest disappointment was the room. It was one of 2 smallest rooms and using with physical keys. All the other rooms had electronic leys. The door was a sliding door, providing very little security. The entrance was difficult as it angles passed the entrance door. The bathroom was very small and the shower also very small.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was amazing. We ate dinner there one night which also was terrific. The staff was helpful

The rooms were exceedingly small. It may have been a function of when we reserved but you could barely move in the room and there was little counter space in the bath.

On the water. beautiful view from the rooms. great location for town and ferry.

pillows were too hard

The rooms were clean and fresh with the blue/ white color scheme. Right on the water we loved that we were so close to the lapping waves. Great breakfast and very helpful staff. Close, easy walking distance to the restaurants for dinner was a bonus and parking right out front very helpful. A great hotel highly recommended, we would return to the same hotel next time.

Loved it - staff, property and atmosphere

It was being done up a bit so I hope the property will be refreshed (there’s a charming vintage feel to it which I liked but the outside could do with a refresh). lovely spot, would visit again.

It used to be a boutique hotel. Now enlarged and lost some of its quality as a family/boutique hotel.

We had a very nice sea-view.

The toilet couldn’t flush without opening the rusty cistern and manually pulling the plug. The entry of the room was stinky and wouldn’t go away even if we opened the window for multiple hours.

Small room

The location is amazing. Room with the sound of the sea whispering through the windows.

The communal areas in particular the reception had visual dirt on the floors and seated areas. This hotel Is old school Italian charm. Which can’t account for everything. Including the room price.
