This is a really special property. We had a garden facing apartment which was really spacious with a bbq, big outside table and our own private loungers. It looked out over the beautiful garden which Andrea tends to and there are orange trees that you can go and pick fresh fruit from. The best Oranges I have ever tasted! It's so peaceful and quiet. All you can hear is birdsong which is the same by the pool. It's totally relaxing with really comfortable sun beds.
Other guests had cars (lots of parking at the property) but we did everything by foot. The local supermarket was 10 minutes walk away with a fresh fish and meat counter, bakery, pharmacy and everything you'd need. My friend arrived by bus and it took her about 25 minutes to walk from there. Town was no more than a 30 minute walk where there are loads of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. It's on the river and is really stunning. The ferry to the island where the beach is takes only 15 minutes to get to.
I couldn't have had a better week away. I was able to fully switch off and relax. The hosts were super friendly, accommodating and helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday! I'll be back.

An extremely well run accommodation that felt like a home from home. Exceptionally friendly owners who could not do enough to help, not to mention the invitation to help yourself to the abundance of fresh oranges and lemons from the orchard. They even included an electric juicer!!
The air conditioning was turned off but can fully understand the need to conserve energy and it was not the height of the season albeit unseasonably hot.

The apartment is spacious, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The furnishings exceeded expectations with regard to their quality. The hosts were delightful and helpful.
The property was further from downtown than the 1.5 km indicated on Bookings.com along a road that had no real shoulders for walking. We did not feel safe walking into town.

Amazing location. If you have a car it’s 5 -10 minutes from most places in Tavira . The property is kept immaculate. Lovely swimming pool. There is a lot of attention to detail. Hosts even gave us beach towels, beach umbrella and ice box. Everything in the kitchen is well thought out (including Tupperware boxes to store food). We had a really amazing time! The hosts provided a lot of information on sights, activities and places to eat on arrival. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful!

- The kindness and carefulness of the owner and his wife. The installations are immaculate.
- The kitchen have all the appliances do you need to make your stay comfortable, our room have, besides, sunbeds and a barbecue.
- The peacefulness of the area, outside the noise and hustle of the downtown.
- Great pool, perfectly maintained.

- The room doesn't has air conditioning in the living room (just in the bedroom), therefore, in the summer, is a little bit hot inside.
- The Wi-Fi is slow by any standard. Maybe the correct adjective is "temperamental", sometimes connects perfectly, sometimes not.

Staff was excellent and always available as they lived on site. The villa was kept in tip top shape. Everything was either new or very lightly used. The pool was clean and refreshing. It was a salt water pool so no chemical smell or itch. The lounge chairs around the pool were very comfortable. Secure free parking right outside the front door. We felt very safe always. Kitchen equipment was all clean and worked well. They provide beach towels and beach umbrella and a cooler with ice packs. This came in very handy when we drove to Praia Verdelago. Excellent beach with free ample parking and a short walk from parking lot to beach. About 20 km east Andrea the host maintains a large beautiful garden. A/C was excellent.
Some mosquitoes in the room even though we tried to be very diligent with the mosquito screens. Could not walk into Tavira from villa because the narrow road isn't safe to walk on as cars drive by at night. But Tavira does have plenty of free parking and it's only 5 minutes by car.

The apartments are very well located with easy access by car to Tavira and the beach at Barril. The hosts are very helpful and Andrea keeps the gardens looking absolutely beautiful. There is a great pool ( not suitable for small children).
The internet connection is very poor so if you need it to work etc you will be frustrated. Down load any films or your series on Netflix before you come!

Easygoing athmosphere. Nice garden and orchard. Friendly and considerate owners. Nice pool. And appartment 1 was very spacious. In short, we stayed more days than planned because we liked it so much. This accomodation plus Tavira formed a welcome rest in our travels.
