The views are much nicer higher up, when you’re low you just see the top of buildings which is depressing when you want to see Hobart views.

Location was great. Beds were comfortable.

Luxury stay here, the buffet breakfast was well worth it! Everything was so fresh and there was such an amazing selection of food, something for everyone.

Accommodating staff from reception to concierge

From the moment you arrive the service is exemplary and there is a feeling of luxury and quality. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everything is of the highest quality.

Rooms were wonderfully spacious, incredible view and close to everything. Buffet breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone took so much pride in their role and you felt very looked after.

The people in the foyer didn’t really greet you when you arrived to give you instructions of where to go.

Right in the middle of the city, Very convenient location, hotel has lot of new features and facilities

car parking is a pain.

There was plenty of choice of food. I like the buffet style of breakfast. Everything looked wonderful but, sadly, my health conditions did not permit me to sample many of the foods on offer but everything looked good and what I did have, I enjoyed very much.

Sometimes the hot food could have been hotter .

The automation/ snart features in the room.were great.The breakfast was good but could use some variety. We stated there for 4 days and it was the same everyday. The location was good too.

The housekeeping services could have been better. We had our room cleaned everyday the first day the bed looked made but when we drew the covers the bed sheet was all loose and shrivelled from the night before, the next 2 days no vacating was done in the room...there were 3 females staying in the room and our hair from the bathrooms was still on the floor and on the beds even after housekeeping cleaned the room apparently.

Large corner room with huge bathroom. Very comfy bed. Staff in club lounge were delightful and downstairs concierge personnel very helpful. Used the valet parking it is extra charge but worth it. Evening canopies in club lounge were plentiful and as noted staff in lounge were very attentive and pleasant. Hotel is in middle of city easy 10 minute walk to wharf and Salamanca markets but if you do have mobility issues the walking may prove little much. TV connects to your device for streaming. Great!!

My biggest surprise was some staff in Core restaurant , one experience ok it's a bad day but we choose to eat breakfast there for first 3 days and ouch! With exceptional of table staff your coffee barista and guy in charge of egg station desperately in need of happy pills. Yes I get it's busy but hey I didn't do it.

Fantastic Breakfast - fresh & great choices & plenty of seating. Everything 5 Star - Rooms very spacious & extremely clean, great fridge temperature nice & cold.

Only slight negative was the partitioning between bathroom & bedroom - not sound proof - hard when sharing with a friend - would be far better to have an actual solid wall. Also open wardrobe set up isn’t great - prefer doors on - especially when you have visitors in your room.

Everything was super except the parking even though the staff made is hassle free with valet.

There should have been an indoor pool.

One of the lifts was out of service so it was a little slow waiting for the lifts

The hotel and rooms were clean and modern with nice views around most of the city. Staff were plentiful and friendly. The Deck bar located in the hotel is a great location for a drink or bite to eat. One of the highlights has to be the fantastic breakfast, probably the best we’ve ever experienced in a hotel chain.

The night club/bar next door (The Twisted Lime) was quite noisy until about midnight on Saturday night; thankfully it would seem to only be open on Saturdays.

Doesn't have a drive up to the hotel area, you have to disembark etc from the road.
