We were blown away by the standard of the rooms and facilities at this hotel. As a group of 5 friends (3 individuals and 1 couple) we booked 2 family rooms. Each of the family rooms had it’s own ‘front door’. Behind that ‘front door’ there was an entrance hallway and 2 more doors. Behind each of these doors was a double/twin hotel room with it’s own bathroom. The individual rooms were very large and decorated to a very high standard. The furnishings were also of a very high standard. The bathrooms were very modern and exceptionally clean. The room rate also included access to the sports facility which is based across the road from the hotel. We were provided with wristbands which gave us access into the building, and also activated the lockers. We used the swimming facilities - there was a diving pool, a large swimming pool with lanes, and a large outside spa pool which you swam into from inside the building. The spa pool had lots of different areas to relax in with bubble jets and cascading water. Breakfast was very plentiful - lots of different pastries, cakes, meats, cheese, cereal, fruit etc. There was a menu on the table to choose freshly cooked options too. As well as the usual selection of coffee, there was also a huge selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had been discussing restaurant options with the gentleman on reception and he provided some helpful information. we headed off for our walk into town, and the gentleman on reception came running after me to make sure that I had a jacket with me as it was due to get a bit chilly later in the evening.

The staff were very friendly and the free access to the sports complex and spa really made our stay enjoyable. Food from the restaurant for the day dinner menu was exceptional.

The room in the hotel was very good, small but cozy , excellent sleeping beds, good bathroom with tv, clean and nice, breakfast was fantastic, big choices of leaf teas and excellent coffee, the restaurants in the hotel were very good, food was delicious.
