It is a lovely hotel in a quiet location. Big rooms and shower room. The breakfast was excellent and the table settings were like in a five star hotel. The owners were so friendly and accommodating.

I loved that it was in a rural area but vlose enough to the bigger cities. It was snowing and the perfect little stop over. Only wish we had more time.

Nice room, nice location if you want to visit Black Forest. Tasty breakfast with fresh products. The best attention possible from Axel and Anita. They also reduced our bill cause we will not be able to join as booked (one person and one night less), really an appreciated attention.

The owner was very friendly. As we decided to go for a 5 days walk in the black forest with our 2 children, he offered to park our car in front of the hotel and gave his telephone number in case we had any issues on our tour and needed to be picked.
We had a particular feeling of being welcome.

We got the large family room and it was HUGE! Breakfast was very good.
The stairs to the big family room need some renovation, but that is only a very minor thing

It was a perfect stay. Very relaxt, good breakfast, friendly staff, good beds, clean rooms. We will be there again within 2 weeks on our way back to Holland from Italy.
The floor of the room above us (room 19) creaked loudly sometimes.

The hotel is beautiful, staff super friendly, breakfast was amazing! So much fresh food and loads of healthy options. Spacious rooms and good beds.

Room had a balcony and was very spacious. Relaxed atmosphere The receptionist was very straight forward had a nice smile and Breakfast was more than adequate with choice!!
No evening meal at the hotel but I was given directions to a beautiful pub about a 1.2k walk which served good food.

Absolutely stunning location, with a great overview on the valley and magical view on the sky at night. Great breakfast with very friendly staff. Spacious room. Nice garden. Overall a very quiet and relaxing place to be. Will probably return.
Room was incredibly hot all the time, woke up several times at night; there was a fan, which helped, but still not ideal. Unpersonal check-in and no opportunity to have dinner at the restaurant: this hotel still seems to keep a rather strict distancing policy with fewer facilities than usual. I feel as if the hotel would have much more of the typical German hospitality (which I did feel during breakfast) on offer without the scaling-down of these facilities.
