Creekside Cabin on the Mickelson Trail
Profitez d'un emplacement calme à proximité de la ville et sur une route pavée. Cette propriété est située sur la fourche Newton de Spring Creek. Le patio arrière est ombragé presque toute la journée, vous offrant un endroit idéal pour vous asseoir et profiter du son de la crique qui coule près de vous. Courez facilement dans Hill City pour le dîner ou l'épicerie ou restez à la maison et faites un barbecue près du ruisseau. Empruntez le sentier Mickelson et marchez ou prenez le train 1850. Un court trajet en voiture vous amène à toutes les attractions principales, y compris Mt Rushmore (20 minutes) et Crazy Horse (16 minutes) ou allez l'autre direction à Deerfield Lake pour la pêche et la navigation de plaisance.

We have stayed here 2 years in a row and we love the place. It is quiet, close to trails and town. It is clean and the bedrooms being separated works great for 2 couples, gives privacy to both. This year we ventures to new trails off Deerfield road and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

We had a great time. Our 6 year old granddaughter loved playing all up and down the creek. It was very comfortable inside and close to many attractions.

My mom is 83 years old, and her sister is 79. Neither had been to Mount Rushmore, so it was on their bucket lists. My husband and I took them this year. The Creekside Cabin was fantastic. The location could not have been better - so conveniently located to so many beautiful things.

My husband and me, our adult son and daughter in law, and their children (age 3 and 1) stayed together. It was the perfect set up for us - not fancy, but very comfortable and close to everything we wanted to see. During the days we went to all the sights, at night we relaxed by grilling dinner, cooking s’mores over the camp fire, and playing games. Thank you for a memorable vacation to beautiful South Dakota!!

The location was great, close to Hills city; the cabin was spotless, very clean, we did see deer grazing, that was great! The problem, one of the mattresses had a huge dip in it, I tried to fill it up using 2 pillows, sleeping was nearly impossible-I did speak to the owner and did let him know that a new mattress was necessary

Location was great, short distance from a great small town. Located right on the Mickelson Trail saw a nice bull elk and deer,but you should not advertise your place as a cabin when in fact it is a trailer.

The location is ideal for those exploring the Black Hills — close to all the attractions! And this home is set on a beautiful piece of property. The interior could use a few updates. It provided our family with plenty of space and the kitchen and baths were stocked well. However, we had difficulty using both showers (poor water pressure for women washing hair) and the mattress in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable.

This was a wonderful spot to stay for our 3 day weekend! The creek added so much to the quaint atmosphere. My kids loves the room with the bunk beds and all the games available to play. Every thing we needed was there and easy to find. Grill works great and came in handy for supper in. Being just outside hill city makes it a great location to go to many area sites. Highly recommend!

The space worked well for our family of four. We had enough room inside and space to play outside. We stayed a week over 4th of July. The house is about 0.75 miles outside of Hill City and a good jumping off spot for adventures. Check in was easy and the amenities were as described. Thanks for having us!

The creekside cabin was cute, clean, right on the trail, and really convenient to Mt. Rushmore and Hill City. We saw deer and a beaver in the creek!

The rental was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located to the side-by-side trails yet close enough to Hill City to access anything we may have needed. The creek was beautiful and the sound of it tranquillizing! Thank you for opening up your home-away-from-home to us!

We go to the Hills every June for an annual getaway with our close friends. This was a new place for us this year and we LOVED it. Quiet, relaxing and close to Hill City and trails. We will definitely be booking this place again.

This was a very cute and comfortable cabin. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. The property is easy to get to and very peaceful, private and relaxing. We loved our stay! We enjoyed the fire pit, the sound of the creek and even the covered patio during the rain showers.

My family and I really enjoyed this well stocked and conveniently located home. As a bonus, the National Forest boundary is a two minute walk from the back door. The living room is huge and we really enjoyed playing card games located in a nearby kitchen cabinet. We would definitely stay here again!
