The property was beautiful, in a fantastic location in the heart of Kailua-Kona with access to amenities and the ocean right in front. We were treated to lovely sunsets from the balcony. Lisa is such a kind and welcoming host and made our stay memorable. She is also very responsive and communication was easy. The home is clean, neat, and fresh, and had all the necessities and more that came in handy on a trip to Hawaii. Thank you so much, and I hope to stay here again in the future!

Having two separate bedrooms made it even more enjoyable at night! This place has everything you could want, and then some you didn’t even think about! It’s a hidden gem! Lisa was one of the best hosts I’ve worked with over the years (on various platforms). She was responsive and provided helpful information throughout the process. Lisa communicated about the check in process, notified us about building maintenance and provided useful information about the area.
The unit was clean, spacious & well-stocked. Usually, we stop at the rental to see what we need from the store. This visit, we needed only to pick up fresh produce & proteins because the condo had spices, cooking oils, utensils, and storage containers.
The beds were very comfortable. There were 2.5 bathrooms, including a washer/dryer in the hall bath on the main floor. Loved this since we had a week on another island afterwards and it allowed us to start with clean clothes again.
We were worried that the main floor bedroom didn’t have a/c, but there was a fan (?) over the door that directed cool air into the room. We had no issues with overheating during our stay.
The main floor lanai was huge and had plenty of space to relax as well as to eat meals while watching the sunset. The upstairs lanai was perfect to watch the sunrise over the mountain each morning.
We had 2 people working remotely for a week. Neither of us had any issues with the internet. My son worked at the desk in the living room. There was even a monitor there that he used. I worked upstairs & used the TV as my second monitor.

We stayed for 10 days over the Ironman. I've used VRBO for many vacations and Lisa was the best host I've encountered on the platform! Extremely responsive to communication, was willing to go out of her way to allow us to ship something to her home that she delivered to the condo, and traded parking spots as the spot she gave us was slightly easier to get into and out of with a large SUV.
The condo is excellent. It is fully stocked with everything you could want or need during your stay. The views are great, the sundeck (upper Lanai) was relaxing, and it was perfectly located off Ali'i. Convenient walking to tons of stores, restaurants and nightlife. The 2 king beds and the queen murphy bed were all very comfortable, and not-pictured, the upstairs was renovated to have a full 3rd bath.
We're putting this one on our list for a return trip!

We recently stayed at this condo and we really enjoyed our visit to the big island. The place is well-stocked, is centrally located and was a few minutes walk to some nice restaurants & shops. It is about a 15-minute drive from the KOA airport. Lisa was very responsive to any concerns we had. We will definitely stay here again.

This vacation spot is very centrally located in Kailua. Excellent communication from the owners for everything there. The place is ideal to get to restaurants, the pier, groceries, etc. Spotlessly clean, modern appliances, lots of ocean gear available, beautiful view of sunsets from the balcony. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The unit is very clean and modern. We have stayed in this building many times and this was our favorite unit yet! The listing was exactly as described and as other reviewers have said the unit it very nicely appointed with all of the things you need to enjoy your home away from home and then some! This condo was possibly the best stocked one I’ve ever stayed in, in terms of kitchen supplies, toiletries etc. The beds were super comfortable and the AC’s actually worked (which can be hard to find in rental condos in HI) The space is thoughtfully laid out so that even tho we had 5 adults and a two year old it never felt over crowded or cramped. Communication with the owner was pleasant and efficient, we would definitely use the space again when coming back to Kona with the family!

Perfect Stay
This is the second time we stayed in this unit, and both times have been perfect. The unit was impeccably prepared for our stay: very clean, a welcome basket, well stocked of the necessities, combined with a perfect location. The location was right on Ali'i Drive so it was easy walking to 15+ restaurants and numerous shops. While this unit is on Ali'i Drive it is on the backside of the building. It still had great views but it was away from the traffic noise and the intensity of the afternoon sun.
On top of that, the communication with the owners was excellent and they were willing to go the extra mile to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. On our next visit I have already told the owners that this unit will be our number one choice of where to stay.
So, if you want a perfect stay on the Big Island, this is it!!

Perfect For our family
First of all, this location is amazing! Walking distance to several beaches, restaurants and most importantly shave ice. The condo was stocked with everything we needed. Seriously, there wasn’t a single time I went to look for something that I didn’t find it! Sand toys for my kids, huge beach towels, beach bag, blow dryer, fans for the rooms, pool noodles, you name it, they have it. The cupboards were stocked with all the essentials and the cooking necessities were all there. Plus all the furniture was so comfortable. Even the pull out Murphy bed! Lisa was a wonderful host, her directions were fantastic and very clear- not to mention thorough. We had no issues whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location
We stayed here with another couple and the condo was exactly what we needed. It was very well stocked, had a beautiful lanai and is located in a great spot. We walked town most nights. Plenty of dining choices within blocks and you can easily walk town end-to-end. I highly recommend this condo!

Perfect stay, as-advertised!
The property was wonderful. The location of the building is great for us as we love downtown Kona and being able to walk to breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner, and nearby shopping, tide pools, and beaches. The two lanais are awesome--one is shaded, overlooking the pool area and faces north with great town and sky views, the other gets lots of direct sunshine and looks south towards Mauna Loa.
The unit itself is well-appointed and the layout is great. We have a toddler and he stayed in the downstairs bedroom, leaving us with basically our own studio apartment upstairs when he was napping/sleeping. We did a fair amount of cooking and found all the supplies/equipment we needed and were surprised with how many spices were already there.
Just a note and this goes for all rentals in this area: Having been to Kona a number of times and staying at a number of different properties in this neighborhood, we expected/accepted that there was going to be people, car, and random downtown noises. So just know that going in--the closer you get to downtown and the water, the more potential noise you accept. If you want a quiet stay, look outside of the core downtown area (between King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel at the north end and Royal Kona Resort at the south end).
We like staying/trying different properties when we visit, but can see ourselves staying at this one again and would highly recommend it!

Location, price, amenities, communication, security of the building....everything was perfect! It’s obvious this unit is a second home for Lisa and Don and we definitely felt like their guests. A beautiful unit that is perfectly appointed, with personal touches that left us without a need for anything during our two week stay. Excellent place to stay in Kona
We were pleasantly surprised with this rental unit. It is the best equipped property we have ever stayed at. We always travel with a kitchen bag (knives, basic spices, etc.) that we didn’t have to use at all. They have everything! Also, the furnishings and bedding are very comfortable and the place lives like a home. Will definitely stay again!
