This is a wonderful house in a secluded and private Aquinnah location. We loved watching the sunrise and listening to the waves. The house has everything you need to stay with family or friends and cook and have fun.

This was a wonderful home for any purpose but especially for ours - a weekend of wedding events at a nearby inn and lots of adults sharing a space. The house was charming, equipped as if for a private second home and not a rental- comfortable, homey and everything we needed and wanted. Everything works. Bathrooms are new and clean. Kitchen completely functional and we used it a lot! Furniture is comfortable. Location is amazing if remote - but exactly what I wanted because of its proximity to the inn. Sunny and bright and wonderful porches to sit on. Most importantly, the owner, Amy, is amazing. She sends an email in advance reminding you of things that you should know and was instantly available for the few questions we had. She is incredibly friendly and helpful but also anxious that you enjoy the home to its fullest. Little points: parking is slightly tricky - you can get three cars in front and back total - but don’t pull into the gravel “yard” in front of the house or you will get stuck in a twenty point turn to get out. Just use the two spots in the front as described in the listing and the one spot in the back as described. Also, lots of supplies are in the basement, which Amy (owner) reminds you in her email - so don’t forget to look there first before you buy paper towels and hand soap and such. Finally - look in the armoires and drawers for towels and linens - there are plenty but they aren’t in a specific linen closet. Anyway, fabulous stay- five stars!!

Our second summer staying in this house with friends and our 2 dogs. The house is perfectly set up with anything you or your pets could need or want! The yard is lovely and the beach access is amazing! The hosts are extremely accommodating and made sure we were safe with an approaching hurricane. The house is clean, safe and perfect for all!!

This house was perfect! Our son was getting married in Aquinnah and 6 adults and one infant enjoyed this slice of heaven.. Everything was just perfect…the views.beach… location… decor…outdoor shower…AC…every amenity made for a fabulous stay. Amy was a wonderful host…answering each and every question quickly and with pleasure. You won’t go wrong staying here….we can’t wait to come back!!!!

Great place to land the family for vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the big towns.

This four bedroom, two bath house located between the street and the beach had everything we needed for five colleagues staying in Aquinnah for the annual bird count. It is nicely and simply decorated, sunny and open downstairs with a dining room that seats eight easily. It was warm enough for us to eat lunch out on the deck. Amy is a great host, easy to reach and relaxed. We had three cars, which meant we squeezed to park in the driveway. We hope to be able to return next year.

This was our first time to the Vineyard and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodations and location. It is a little farther to stores and some other tourist sites but that was a bonus for us. Amy was great to work with and I highly recommend the property.

We truly enjoyed our time in Aquinnah. House was walking distance to Lobsterville beach but also a ten minute ride to Philbin beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Gayhead is right in between both which was also fun visiting and provided opportunities to take beautiful pictures by the lighthouse.

Our mother/daughter trip to MV was nothing short of spectacular! The location of the house and access to the dog beach as well as all of the amenities the house offered made this week on MV magical! We’ve been coming to MV for 17+ years and this house and experience including proximity to the amazing restaurant, the Outermost Inn, was fabulous. The house had everything you could need and more for both the human and dog guests. The bike ferry to Menemsha is a must as well as sunsets on the beach. Thanks for an amazing stay Amy! We will most certainly be back!!

We would have been happy with just about any pet-friendly vacation rental that would accommodate our large extended family, but this must be the best one on the island! Yes, it has spectacular ocean views. Yes, it has inviting gathering spaces, comfortable bedrooms, and a renovated kitchen as functional as it is beautiful. Yes, pets are welcome and expected and not just tolerated. Yes, the relaxed, up-island location is the perfect setting for a fun-filled family vacation. The house checks all those boxes admirably. What really sets this place apart is how the host has anticipated her guests' every need. Need a spice or ingredient for your favorite recipe? You'll probably find a little of it in the pantry. Forgot laundry detergent? There's plenty of it by the washing machine. Running out of poop bags for your dogs? There's a stash in cabinet. Left the car door open and ran down your battery? Take the bikes to Menemsha or the lighthouse (yes, that happened). Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. We have a new set of happy memories that will last us a lifetime!

What a wonderful experience we had at this property! So wonderful that we extended our stay and hated to leave. Although it was only the 2 of us renting, we had extended family who were staying nearby come for a fabulous dinner. It was roomy enough to all cook together and then serve dinner for 11 in the roomy dining room. On another day our family came over and we all walked the path to the beach and spent the day there. This property is a comfortable and lovely place to make memories!

We loved the house. Lobsterville beach was a lot of fun for my kids. We can’t wait to go back!

We loved the house! There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. We never felt on top of each other. The house is bright, airy, beautifully decorated, and the back porch and 2 decks were amazing. The walk to the beach was about 60 seconds, literally! We were the only ones on it the whole week. It’s a good 20-30 minutes to get to most places but we were ok with that given hours private and quiet this area is. Would definitely stay again!

I can’t put into words how beautiful and clean the house was , fully stocked with EVERYTHING !!!! Amy was so receptive and caring , beach is beautiful and so close , only negative thing was the ticks which were everywhere except the beach , she did warn us so we went prepared with the dogs , We highly recommended this house , it will be the best vacation you have ever had , thank you Amy for allowing us to use your beautiful home , I can go on and on , you will just have to stay there to see and you won’t regret it

The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, and we felt right at home. Our dog loved the lease-free beach, and as it was off-season, we had it all to ourselves. We enjoyed biking around the island, and, when the weather was too windy for that, we spent time exploring other beaches and walking the trails which run throughout the island. We had a wonderful time visiting Martha's Vineyard and staying in Aquinnah at this lovely home. The home was very inviting and comfortable from the moment we arrived. We were a short walk from the beach (empty other than us most of the time) and a very short drive to the Lighthouse (which was also mostly empty in early April). We felt that we had most of Aquinnah to ourselves which allowed for greater exploration. The home itself was great with plenty of room for all of us to relax after seashell collecting, walks on the beach, or further excursions around the island (we are big fans of the Glassworks). Thank you for opening your home to us.

Amy was an amazing host who made sure we had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the location so close to the beach and had many walks together. We were there for Easter-and we were able to create new memories with family we hadn’t seen in a long time. (6 of us).Everyone had privacy in the house when needed-just a lovely, enjoyable home!

We loved the house, and the peace & quiet of the lowest of the low season (February) makes for an unhurried, peaceful place to relax.

We had a bit of a troubled start because of weather and unavoidable issues, but Amy managed all of the glitches from afar with graciousness and generosity. The house was perfect for our family and its proximity to and views of the ocean were a bonus. Great fireplace too... Lovely place to stay. Thanks Amy
