Our stay in this beautiful apartment was simply perfect in all regards. Every amenity was as advertised and functional. We especially appreciated the convenient lift to the second floor, the air conditioning was superb and the combination washer-dryer was a lifesaver for our weeks worth of soiled clothes. The centralized location was only blocks from the happening waterfront with numerous restaurants at our fingertips. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we come back to Porto.

This was our favourite stay in Portugal. We were received by our host who provided us with extensive recommendations of what to see, where to eat and which tours to take. The apartment is beautiful with local art, fabulous doors that open to the view and a great kitchen. The beds are very comfortable and we loved the robes and slippers. We highly recommend this stay. At the end of the day, after many many steps taken to view fabulous Porto - we loved sitting in the living room and relaxing with a great glass of wine! The location is the very best! Thank you!

The apartment was wonderful! Clean and well stocked...everything you'll need - the washer/dryer and elevator were really helpful as we were on a 2 week trip. There were even robes, slippers and chocolates laid out on the beds. And oh the view... oh that view!! From the beginning of the rental process the communication was excellent with the office as I had questions about the area. The apartment is centrally located with plenty of restaurants nearby along with several markets to purchase fresh produce and other sundries. We rented a car from Lisboa to Porto and got in much later than anticipated. I kept in contact with the office about our arrival time and we were met with the keys upon our arrival. The gentleman even left his dinner early to meet us. The check in process was very easy and we were shown around the apartment and questions were answered. We were also sent ideas of places to visit with contact information. We rented 3 different places on our trip and honestly this property and the customer service was the BEST!! We wished we would have stayed in Porto longer and rented here longer than 3 nights. The only downside was the construction nearby which was loud sometimes. However, everything else was so perfect that we are still so happy we rented here. We will be back!! Thank you to the team for your hospitality and customer service.

We had an excellent stay at this property! The apartment itself was as lovely as shown in the photos with great views of the Ribeira and good light during the day. The kitchen was well stocked on arrival and we were glad to have a combo washer and dryer. The rooms were very comfortable with plentiful towels and the robes and slippers were a great touch! The location is perfect for exploring the city center and the host provided plenty of recommendations for places to eat. We are pleased offer a 5 star review without hesitation and would gladly stay here again. Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a fantastic location, between the Sao Bento train station and the river area. All the top sights were easy to walk to. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and had large windows making the apartment very bright and giving us great views of the area including the river in the short distance away. Communication from check in to check out was excellent. Joana even helped arrange transportation for us to the airport and suggested a secure luggage storage company right around the corner from the apartment. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

The flat hit all the marks. It had fabulous amenities. It was in the Premier location, the host and driver and check in accommodations were perfect. It was very clean and extremely comfortable, including the beds and the living room and the view was so nice. I highly, highly, highly recommend renting this flat. Getting into a rental car in a new country takes some getting used to. Street signs in Porto are hard to find and often don't exist. Following on line directions is almost impossible. We went around in circles for 45 minutes looking for the apt. Our host was inconvenienced and wondered what our problem was. We were never warned about the high cost of parking in the nearby parking lot we were directed to by our host. It was $102 for less than 48 hours. All shocking. The apt was great and centrally located. I'd never again have a car in Porto.

From the booking process to leaving everything was amazing. The apartment is as beautiful and the photos show. Everything in the apartment was first class. The beds were very comfortable; the bathrooms big and modern, the kitchen and living room were spacious and inviting. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly and the small safe was a wonderful bonus. The location could not have been better—close to so many restaurants, shops, the river and Gaia. The host Joana was incredible. She was always responsive and helpful. She provided a lot of information regarding restaurants and sights. Be aware there is heavy construction next to the apartment, but we got used to it after a bit and it did not bother us. Very safe and secure. If we return to Porto we would definitely stay here again

This apartment had a great view of the city. You can see down several streets and even to the river. Had no problem meeting Valentim for the check in.
The apartment was clean and the beds very comfortable. It has a small safe for money and passports; iPads and larger items will not fit. It has a combo washer/dryer.
One item of note. There is construction going on right outside the apartment for the city’s subway extension. Work was going on pretty much 24 hours a day. While there is some construction noise, it wasn’t particularly bothersome. Ear plugs were provided in the apartment. Not sure when the work is scheduled to be concluded.

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The photos are very accurate and the location to everything can’t be beat. The beds were great, and having the 2 roomy bedrooms and bathrooms were a huge plus for us. It also had an amazing view and is on top of the best place for a pastry - a win, win.
We did hear the construction going on around the apartment at night - but were aware of this before our stay, and know it was certainly not the fault of the apartment owners/company. I would recommend this apartment for a great stay in Porto!

This apartment is clean, modern, well furnished and equipped, in a great location handy for the Douro Ribeira area and just a short walk from Sao Bento rail station.
The downside only became apparent on our last night - we stayed from Friday until Tuesday. The apartment is located next to works associated with the construction of an extension to the Porto metro. No work took place over the weekend, but on Monday night we were continually woken by very loud noise from the site just outside our bedroom window. This will be a problem for some time to come...

Excellent location in the heart of Porto yet quiet for sleeping once interior shutters are closed. Historic building that has been refurbished very comfortably. Wonderful sense of light and views of the city and even the Douro River. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, each feels private and peaceful.

This apartment is gorgeous and in a great location. It is in the heart of the old city and easy walking distance to just about everything. There is a major road construction project going on just below the apartment but the noise didn't bother us as we were out exploring all day. There is a bit of city noise that comes with being in the thick of everything but with the windows and shutters closed we found it very quiet and slept well.
We very much enjoyed the apartment and the City of Porto. Communication was excellent with Joanna throughout and Valentim was waiting at the apartment to show us around.

We had a two week tour of Spain and Portugal (I know, too short). By far the nicest apartment and location. Nothing to complain about. Joanna was great. We parked car for $20 euros for 3 days! Where does that happen?
Great views at top of the hill in Centro, easy walk and view of river. Built-in appliances everywhere contributed to sleek look. Even washer/dryer was built in to the 2nd shower! All windows (6 I think) opened to a balcony and had beautiful shutters.
Very well stocked with towels, and cleaning supplies, coffee, etc.
You will not be disappointed booking this great rental!

The apartment was in a perfect location, close to everything. Our check-in with Valentim was quick and easy, and the driver who met us at the airport was so professional. This apartment was amazing! Beautiful layout and the best location in Porto! Views of the river and above the most delicious pastry and coffee shop. Just around the corner from all the best places to visit (churches, restaurants, museums, parks). The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. They provided everything we needed. The kitchen was modern, plus the bedroom and baths were top notch luxury. Perfect comfy beds and very soft sheets. I loved sitting on the balcony in the sunshine to enjoy the city view and opening the French doors to the fresh air! We recommend to friends!

The perfect choice in Porto!
We loved our 7 night stay in this beautiful apartment. It was just my husband and I so it was a treat to have so much space and two bathrooms. This apartment would also be ideal for two couples because both bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are equally nice. There is a lot of closet space in both bedrooms so you can totally unpack and get settled for a long stay. Actually - this would be a great “work from abroad” apartment for a small family. While searching for a place to stay in Porto I was drawn to a few apartments right along the riverfront. Now that we’ve experienced Porto I am so happy we chose Joana’s apartment (with a very nice river view) instead of staying along the very busy waterfront. Joana provided the best recommendations for restaurants and shopping. She also put us in touch with a fabulous tour company (Nomad Steps) for a private tour of the Douro Valley when our previously scheduled guide cancelled on us at the very last minute. She is a super host! In order to keep this review as complete and accurate as possible to help future travelers, I need to mention that there is a construction project going on at the street level. But nothing blocked the wonderful view nor was there any construction noise while we were there. You should just be aware, however, that this is a long-term project so I imagine there will be varying periods of activity. Regardless, we 100% recommend this gorgeous apartment.
