Blue Bayou is actually better than its pictures (which make it look pretty nice)! It's modern and spacious, with large rooms and high ceilings and a beautiful view of the lake. The little cove doesn't have much boat traffic making it an even better choice is you have young kids. We just thought it was more peaceful than other Lake Anna houses we've stayed in. It is stocked with everything for fun on the lake (no fighting over watercraft as there are plenty), down time in the house and the comforts of home. And that blue and white inflatable off the dock -- SO much fun. Only one suggestion, if you are a bird watcher, bring binoculars! I wish I had for the eagles, osprey, heron, swallows and others. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days and would love to come back. Don't hesitate to book it!

The Blue Bayou has it all! It is perfect for all ages to stay and play and relax and take in the beauty. Everything was new and clean and had so many small touches throughout the house that made the stay extra special.

My family had an amazing time staying at the Blue Bayou. The home, property and lake were all pristine. The owners were attentive and communication was great. Lake living at its finest.. Swimming, Fishing, boating, kayaking, games, relaxation and family time! Everyone had FUN and the 12 of us had plenty of room and we felt right at home. Memories for a lifetime, A Great family retreat! Highly recommend and we'd definitely book again.

Fantastic home & host!
We had a great time at the Blue Bayou! The home was beautiful, clean, stocked with everything you could need, tons of entertainment options both inside and outside. We had 14 people in ages ranging from 11 to 75 and everyone enjoyed themselves. Probably the best vacation lake house we've ever stayed in.

The property was amazing from beginning to end! Bob, the property owner was highly communicative weeks before the reservation. I had asked for an early check in and he called to tell me that would almost certainly be no issue, but that he would confirm as soon as his cleaning crew was done. He also mentioned several things to do around the lake and services that I may be interested in. The day of, he communicated clearly the exact time the house was ready via text. The house was perfectly clean and had SO MUCH stuff to entertain with. We thoroughly enjoyed the games downstairs as well as the fire pit and kayaks. Highly recommend!

Stayed 15-22 May 2021 and I can say that it was perfect. We had one minor problem and Bob (the owner) went out of his way to solve it. You won't find a more personable owner. The setting was great, fishing excellent, accommodations and amenities first rate. My family (especially) the grand children had a wonderful time fishing and playing the games in the game room. Thanks again Bob.

A Dream Vacation Home!
Our stay here well exceeded all expectations. The house was so clean, stocked, organized. The views, decor, & layout were an absolute dream. The owner was easily accessible & accommodating. We are already planning our next trip here. I’m not big on going to the same place twice; I would hands down revisit this location many many times. I look forward to coming back!

This was truly amazing house, celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday with family and friends for a weekend. Very spacious with lots of room, and beautiful lake views. Furniture is updated. House is super clean and had extra towels and bedsheets. Would love to come back during the summer for longer gateway.

The Adams have put a lot of love into this house and it was such a wonderful experience from the house, to the trained catfish at the boat dock, the fire pit which was perfect, to the floating witches that came by on paddle boards. Perfect weekend and my in-laws were beyond impressed. Totally recommend this place for quiet family gatherings. I would definitely rent again.

This place is gorgeous! Most well stocked kitchen which was also wonderful! Family Friendly and Relaxing Lake House
This house was exactly as listed. Very well appointed, clean, and welcoming. One thing everyone said - there were plenty of chairs and seating in every area of the house - even outside.
Our family of 15 enjoyed the beach area and dock the most - spending every morning and evening there. One evening was spent making s'mores at the fire. The kayaks and paddle boards were used every single day. Feeding the fish happened MANY times each day. We are hopeful this house will be available the next time we vacation at Lake Anna! Definitely recommend!

Great family vacation home!
We are a family group of 17 and this house was just what we needed. Plenty of room to sit together at meals and 2 refrigerators to store food and drinks. With 9 kids ranging from 3-18, there was plenty to do to keep them occupied. The covered dock was ideal for fishing and swimming. The owner is quick to respond to questions. We had a wonderful time and recommend this home without reservation!

Beautiful!
We enjoyed a beautiful week at Lake Anna. Bob, the owner, was wonderful helping to arrange for us to bring our boat. Our 4 grandchildren ages 2-5 enjoyed the slight slope of the beach and the glittering sand. Great spot on the lake, outside fire pit, dock and the accommodations were lovely. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks again!

Big, beautiful house!
Blue Bayou has everything you need for a family vacation. Lots of deck. Easy in and out of the water. Toys, aka, kayaks and tubes to play with. Great kitchen/living/dining room area. Great for groups of 12 or more. Loved it! We’ll be back!

Excellent Experience
This is a beautiful home that is well prepared for incoming guests. All kitchens supplies and other supplies were available in the home. The place was immaculately clean. The outside beautiful!!! It was very easy to reach the owner.

Wonderful stay, perfect for a retreat
We held a 2 day retreat for 14 adults and the home was perfect! Communication with the owner/manager was easy and informative. Would stay here again!

Perfect retreat
We wanted a quick short weekend get away to escape the hustle and bustle of nova and spend some family time together with some extended family. This was our first time to Lake Anna in the fall and it was just perfect. The house is spacious yet cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook meals.
We loved the dock, the view, the screened in deck . My girls are 7 and 8 and loved having a tv in the bunk room. We will defnintely be back!
