Cottage on the Beach
Charmante maison située directement sur la plage avec un accès direct à la plage et une vue imprenable sur la baie. Plan d'étage ouvert spacieux avec beaucoup de soleil et une salle pour se détendre. Caractéristiques entièrement blindé dans le porche avec des ponts ouverts à l'avant et à l'arrière du chalet. Emplacement idéal pour ceux qui aiment la plage ou veulent simplement se détendre en écoutant les vagues. Beaucoup de stationnement hors rue.

We were so delighted with our stay in this sweet little beach cottage. We stayed with our three adult children and their spouses and one small dog. There was plenty of room for all of us. The location was perfect! Right on a lovely quiet bay beach. But a short drive away from the ocean beaches for a play in the waves. It was a nice walk up to the adorable Broadkill Store, which we frequented for their delicious ice cream! We very much enjoyed the large screened in deck which easily accomodated all 8 of us for dinners and games in the evenings. We also enjoyed a few short day trips to the Futuro House and the Deleware Botanical Gardens. We did not need to contact the owners during our stay, but I would love to meet them sometime. All in all it was the perfect summer getaway. I would highly recommend this beach house for a delightful summer vacation.

The rental was very clean, location right next to the Bay was great, and would definitely consider a future rental with the Lawsons. Thanks for a great vacation week!

We had a wonderful time in Broadkill this year. The home was perfect for our family! It was extremely clean. The outdoor shower and multiple hoses around the property are perfect for getting cleaned off after a day at the beach. Todd was very responsive to our questions prior to and during our stay. We hope to be back again!

Our two couples and a lab enjoyed a beautiful Spring weekend beachside. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped, the owner Todd quite accommodating. We saw dolphins and enjoyed exquisite sunsets from the deck. We saw few people on the beach and enjoyed long walks. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!

We spent a long weekend at the Lawsons' lovingly maintained beachfront cottage. Everything was clean, comfortable, and in very good working order. The new bathroom and new decking made the place feel sold cared for. I loved the enclosed porch with a giant table overlooking the beach, and of course loved having the dog-friendly beach just a few steps away. There were only two of us (plus T-Bone!), but I could see the cottage being a nice space for 4-5 guests. Todd the owner was friendly and responsive. Would totally rent again!

The Lawson property reminded us of beach cottages from our childhoods, in a good way. It is charming and cozy while having all the comforts of home. The beach was easily accessible and we had a great time.

Fantastic beach front cottage, facing the bay. Great views of sunrise, screened in porch, stocked kitchen, wonderful outdoor shower & lots of space. 3 bedrooms on first floor and six beds on 2nd floor (which we didn’t use, but would be perfect for kids/teens). Definitely will return!

we have been coming for a few years and it definatly is our home away from home. So much so when we come off beach we tell our dog to go home and he takes himself there!!!! the new deck is my favorite part and the outdoot shower is beautiful

The trip was very enjoyable with the family for a wedding. House was great the only thing was we wished they supplied bed sheets since we are coming from out of state so had to pack those and towels so just be prepared to bring. Other than that it was a wonderful stay at the property and would do again. Todd did get back when asked questions. Lots of space for many families to enjoy all together. Recommend renting!! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

We loved this house and our stay! Everything in the listing was accurate, and the house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We loved having breakfast on the screened in porch every morning, being right on the beach, and even saw dolphins one day from the house! We will definitely be back!

The listing was just like the listing was represented online. The cottage was clean and the furniture was comfortable. The screened in porch was very nice to sit and listen to the waves. The cottage is steps from the beach and the neighborhood was quiet. We would stay here again.

This was the perfect little house right on the beach. I loved the screened in porch with the beautiful lights to sit and relax and listen to the waves at night. The short walk over the dunes to the beach was amazing. And the cottage was so neat and quaint. We had a wonderful long weekend there. Definitely will be back ❤️❤️

This beach house was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very clean and inviting, exactly as shown in the pictures. The beach access was right outside the screened in porch.
Beautiful sunrises and we did many walks on the beach.
We will be coming back here in the future.

Beach House Was Fun!
Me and my family stayed at the Beach House for 2 weeks at Broadkill Beach. We had an excellent time. My little ones loved looking for shells and rocks. They also got to see a few crabs. The water was perfect and calm. For our little ones, this calmness was much better since they don't know how to swim yet. Small waves are perfect for them (2 and 5 years old). And the beach wasnt packed. Plenty of space and not crowded. The front porch was great for hanging out with the family. The owner, Todd, was very helpful and quick to respond to our needs. I definitely recommend The Lawsons' Beach House!

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. The proximity to the beach was amazing and the screened in porch was a bonus! The house is cozy and has everything we needed to have a great beach trip.

Perfect in every way!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for a quiet get-away with family. All furniture and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. We lacked for no comforts of home. The host responded quickly to all messages and messaged to let us know that the house was ready b4 our check-in time and that we could stay a bit longer on check-out day. We would not hesitate to attempt to book the house for future visits to the area. (Ultimate compliment came from my very particular brother who walked in and said I did good when I found and booked this property.)

Relaxing beach getaway
Our family of 5 and 2 dogs had a fantastic vacation at this beach cottage! The beach is right through a path in the dune grass and is beautiful! There were so many cool
Shells and horseshoe crabs and other sea creatures to see. The house is very clean and was bigger than I expected. There was plenty of space to hang out in, and my kids loved the big bedroom upstairs. The screened in porch was amazing, especially with the dogs. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our vacation, the cottage had everything! Thank you to the Lawsons for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage!

Well-maintained, cozy beach cottage
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The home was well stocked with everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The cottage was clean and well maintained-you can tell the owners care about and for this house! The recently updated bathroom was awesome!! The owners were easy to communicate with and we appreciated being able to check in a little early. We would definitely rent this home again!

Our first visit to Delaware staying in your cozy cottage with our pets made it a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the bay and the tranquility of the area. Easy access to neighboring shops and restaurants make it a great Location! Can't wait to return!

Broadkill Vacation
I loved the quiet beach, no tourists or teenagers. Great place to kick back and relax. Being so close to the beach was great for sunrise walks with the dogs. They loved chasing chasing crabs and seagulls , on lead of course. The house was well stocked and very comfortable, strong wifi , and very clean. The sunrises in Broadkill are amazing, I would definately rent here again, the Lawsons are Stellar hosts.
These are not complaints as there is nothing a host could do about them, however be aware of those darn biting flies and bring lots of bug spray and citronella candles, also be aware that very few people leash their dogs on the beach. My terriers are always leashed for their own safety as well as others, and we had several dogs run right up on us .

At the beach
This is an excellent house right near the beach. The dunes are at your front door with the beach just beyond. Beautiful sunrises from the large screened porch. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful new bathroom.

Wonderful getaway
The 🏖 Beach house is a perfect place to stay. Todd is always great to communicate with and the location is great. You’re not too far from all the locations.
The Beach house is always clean has plenty of room and they are definitely dog friendly.

Great Location and House
We loved staying at the Lawson's Beach House. The location was perfect for our little family and it was really convenient to be able to walk to the beach! Our kids loved just playing in the sand right around the house as well. The view from the large screened in porch was beautiful. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway right on the beach, this would be it. We hope to be back!
