Communication with the owner was great: easy to get on contact with and very responsive. The property was as described, very clean, the hot tub was nice and clean, and there were complimentary treats. The air conditioning was very much appreciated during the heat wave!

My friends and I came in for the annual lazy bear event. This was the best place to stay. Far enough away from the festivities for a retreat but close enough to be able to enjoy it all. The location in the woods also meant that when it got hot out the house stayed nice and comfortable without ac. The house was well stocked with kitchen stuff that made making large dinners easy. Would stay here again.

This cabin is absolutely fantastic. The owners were responsive and friendly. The neighborhood is centrally located to river access, hiking, downtown, etc. Definitely my favorite rental in 10 years of going to Guerneville. Highly recommend it!

Property was lovely! Clean, comfortable and great outdoor space. The only problem was that we ended up paying twice the posted nightly rate due to multiple “booking fees” and linen fees, which I’ve not encountered before. Booked at the last minute, so by the time I saw the total charges it was too late to cancel.

Fully equipped home, lovely raised deck with furniture to sit and read under the Redwoods, BBQ, Hot tub, claw foot bath tub, fully equipped for your enjoyment. Short walk to the Russian River. Large deck area outside of kitchen made up for smaller interior cottage size. Perfect for BBQ Has dining table, sofa and chairs to relax outdoors in redwood forest. Great customer service by Property Management Co. through out the process. Accurate descriptions of property. One B/R had a L/R sized chair placed in it and made it too tight to get in and out of the room. I would stay at this property again. Very clean and close proximity to river and Main St in Gurneville.

Quiet redwoods cottage cabin close to town
We enjoyed our stay in this tiny cottage cabin. Went for hubby’s bday to explore guerneville town nearby. Cabin close (few minutes) to everything, yet in a quiet little neighborhood with huge, beautiful redwoods. Hot tub and backyard super amazing. Very clean inside. Nice, new appliances and fast wifi.
Cons:
- guests have to take out their own trash from indoor garbage cans to outdoor bins at checkout! Inconvenient and not a nice touch, especially for the high cleaning fees- that should cover taking out the trash.
- very small place (looks bigger online)- Bedrooms super tiny.
- shower is old and funky (tub jiggles and curtains don’t contain all water), but works fine & claw foot tub looks cool
- bathroom garbage can is practically broken… I’m sure it can inexpensively be replaced so ppl can actually use it.

Excellent instructions and communication with management company. There are lots of house rules and this can seem a little off-putting, but what you get for it is a very well-kept and well-run property, so totally worth it.
(A really small suggestion: consider changing the orientation of the doors in fridge & freezer. Now they open on the left - very awkward with layout of kitchen. Seems easy enough to rehang them to open on the right. )

Perfect Wine Country Getaway
Tucked away in a quaint neighborhood in the redwoods, this lovely cabin is the perfect retreat for exploring wine country or just relaxing on the patio. Quiet, safe and ideally located near the center of Guerneville, wineries and breweries, there is something to enjoy for everyone. We had strong wifi for the teenagers and those working remotely, a well stocked kitchen to cook all our own meals and a beautiful patio/backyard for our pup. Property management was quick and responsive if we needed anything. We arrived to a warm welcome of tall redwoods, dog treats and music playing. Highly recommend. One thing to note: it’s a small space, so pack light. the small bedroom was tough to fit our suitcases in so we kept them in the main room. The bigger bedroom surprisingly had room for our bassinet once we removed the small table from there. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back again.

We had a great time in this lovely home. Woke to a gentle rain among the redwoods. Neighbors were friendly and quiet. Quick walk to the water. Soothing hot tub, fully stocked kitchen..... All in all it was a great experience.

We loved redwood retreat! The house is surrounded by beautiful redwoods. We spent the majority of our time on the deck but the inside was well appointed. Everything we needed to use was clean. The walls could use a once over every so often since it is so woodsy. The bedrooms are small but that was perfectly fine for us. We loved waking up with the sun. The sheets could use some upgrading and we would have liked 2 towels per person given the length of our stay. We traveled with our kids and they go to bed at around 8/8:30 so we did not have any issues with noise. Overall wonderful stay.

Lovely cozy place
We had a lovely stay in the Russian River. The cottage is adorable and the location is fantastic (as is the hot tub). As shown in the pictures, the bedrooms are small but the beds are comfortable. We had one question upon check in and the management group answered my call right away and were very helpful, thank you! My only minor complaint us that this is definitely a rental property and not a "home." There were no games or books or other items I sometimes enjoy finding when I use VRBO (eg tubes for the river or beach towels or a wagon). And the info binder has big cautions about getting the sheets/towels dirty or if the hot tub discolors and has a price listing for anything not left in good condition. I assume they had had some negative prior experiences but it prevented me from fully relaxing on our trip.

We really enjoyed Russian River Pub, they had a beautiful area in the back where we could sit with our pup and enjoy a beer and good food.

Really cute, perfect location!
This cabin is adorable, and it is in a great location. There is a short walk to two small beaches, and it is just a short drive into town. We also drove down to Bodega Bay during our stay, and it is a nice drive. We arrived during a heat wave, and it was so nice to have air conditioning at the house. My husband and I stayed with our two kids, and our small dog. It was really nice to have the backyard for the dog to go in, and she loved going for walks around the neighborhood.
