Die Wohnung ist groß, sehr sauber und hat alles, was man braucht. 3 große Schlafzimmer, ein großes Bad und einen großen Küchen/Wohnbereich. Es gibt eine sehr schöne große Terrasse. Die Lage in der Altstadt nahe am Bodensee ist auch sehr gut. Fußläufig sind Cafés und Restaurants zu erreichen, aber trotzdem ist die Lage sehr ruhig.
Einziges Manko ist die Beleuchtung in den Schlafzimmern. Wir sind nachts angekommen und früh abgereist. Ich brauchte mein Handy, um im Schlafzimmer meine Sachen ein/auszupacken. Es gibt keine Nachttischlampe, so dass man im Bett auch nicht mehr lesen kann. Auch die Deckenlampe leuchtet viel zu wenig. Die Küche ist zwar gut ausgestattet, es fehlt aber ein Korkenzieher.

A very spacious apartment, well equipped, located in a very quiet area, with a very large balcony ideal for smokers. The apartment looks like in the pictures.
Unfriendly host. He sent me a message in German. I told him that I would ask him to send me the information in English because it is the only language I know besides my native language and that google translate could distort the message. I didn't receive any answer. I sent another message asking him to help us with the parking, to which I received a simply reply in English this time: "As written above you can book here".
Regarding parking, he offers you a parking space after you pay 10 CHF. In the parking lot (Freiheitsgasse 3, 9320 Arbon, Switzerland) you can park for free between 7 pm and 8 am on the spots with white lines (there are plenty of free spaces). Those parked in yellow are private places.
The most disturbing thing was that as soon as I left the apartment, I sent a message that I put the key in the key box (where I got it at check in) and went down to the front of the building to wait for the car for the parking lot. As soon as we sent the message, someone came down in a hurry and asked us "Finish?" and verified if I put the key. She didn't care if we felt good, he just wanted to check if the keys were in the key box because she left the key there. It was an embarrassing moment for us.
I gave the correct note for what the apartment offers, I did not lower the note because of the host. I just wanted to prevent you.

The apartment is very spacious and in very good condition.

The lighting in the bedroom and in general is not great, but it is not a huge problem.

Property is nice, but we had problem with the leakage of water from the above apartment and we could not use our kitchen at all. I tried to contact the owner and he try to manage and call plumber to stop the water. It was dinner time and we could not use kitchen when we needed the most. So the money we paid for 1 night it was not worth. The Host did not consider anything about the situation and he should have refund some of the amount. I send him the photo as well for him to see the mess.
Owner is not a good host for sure.
