we had a brilliant time and the King Richard lodge was lovely we had 7 friends all staying together and we had a great time

Nice location, lots of space and greenery around the chalet, hosts were responsive and helpful.

The chalet is not really comfortable for 7 or 8 people - the sofa bed is very basic and uncomfortable (foam pad on floor) and you are disturbed by anyone using the bathroom at night as they walk right past your bed. Would be fine for 6 people.

Deb was great at communicating with me and provided extra information about the site and places to eat and visit.

No bedding provided for the sofa bed.

Spacious and clean. It sits in the most wonderful location. Completely safe for my 4 girls to run around. The owner is wonderful, so accommodating. The pony grooming was a big hit. This is our 2nd visit here and we will definitely be back again.

What a find. This place was amazing. Lodge was beautiful, very well fitted and large. Grounds were lovely. Kids adored all the horses, and the staff were all great. Communication with the owner throughout booking process was first class. Couldn’t have been more accommodating to us. We visit the area regularly to visit family and have been looking for a place to use as a base and we have now found it. The only negative was having to leave with crying girls because they didn’t want to leave the horses.
