This was definitely a home from home; comfortable with every feature and utensil you might need. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. A washing machine and tumble dryer were even provided. TVs in each bedroom. Comfortable sofas and beds. Decor was very modern and the building is very spacious throughout. A full bathroom with a bath and an ensuite to the master bedroom with a large walk-in shower. Nice touch leaving a bottle of wine and biscuits for us.
Honestly, there was nothing to dislike.

The Retreat was spacious and very clean. The hot tub was a real treat. being able to park right on the doorstep is great - especially travelling with a family.

The accommodation felt luxurious, was exceptionally clean. The owners had gone the extra mile with additions we had not expected. The access from every room into the decking was great and the hot tub made it extra special.

Contactless arrival, extremely clean. Plenty of tea, coffee, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid left. Well equipped kitchen to cook our Christmas dinner in.

No instructions on what to do at check out or staff around. We just left keys in lodge and left as it didn’t state what to do with the keys.
Shower heads are faulty kept sliding down when trying to shower had to hold them.
Hot tub lid is damaged making it very difficult to remove and put back in carefully even with two people. It is very heavy too where the polystyrene has soaked up the rain water!
