This place was very clean and organized!

Cozy, clean cottage on a quiet street in Woods Hole. Close to the bike path and to downtown. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had a good supply of cooking equipment, and the cottage was clean.

Hard to climb up to entry. Could slip on the hill needs improved

Small neat basic cottage with a good location. Perfect for us because we had relatives in the area. One suggestion bring your morning coffee, milk and sugar. Tea is supplied.

Cottage in good location with new appliances but… Random items cluttered our closet. Bedroom curtains didn’t open fully, making the room dark. Bathroom wonderful but shower set to tepid. Kitchen fine, but no kettle and so little cutlery we had to buy more, since reimbursed. Not every window had a screen; when we opened one such, the window ledge was alive with ants. We shut it promptly and were glad we’d packed Off! Storm door unscreened; agent obligingly provided a new one. They also fixed a pumping defect in the cellar & told us what to do if recurred (it did). Dodgy electrics? When sitting on the 1 hard sofa with back door open we were on view of our very close neighbours; a fence would help. Only outdoor furniture was abandoned broken chairs. Hilly front lawn with bare patches shelved so abruptly near road we had to traverse to avoid falling; the stone steps were wholly inadequate & path had no lighting. Hazardous on 2 levels. How can it meet safety standards? Even entering was iffy. We were locked out one day when electronic combi-lock failed. Though assured there was a back-up key, we were never told where despite asking. Luckily, earlier issues meant we had area manager’s cell and he picked up! ‘Perfect Cape Cottage’ as per website? No. Apart from kitchen and bathroom it felt unconsidered & unloved. Good value? No again. We’ve asked for a part refund. R Eastman, Aug ’23

Lovely stay. Clean, accurate listing, and convenient (ten minute walk to Woods Hole and easy access to Falmouth bike path, Surf Drive, and ocean). Pretty basic and simple, but it served its purpose for our family of 3!

Positives: Interior nice, clean Kitchen mostly well equipped AC works well Bed very comfortable Linens nice Response from Vacasa to issues was very good Wi-Fi good (near the kitchen area) Negatives: Approach to the house is slanted, uneven and scrabbled; for anyone without perfect balance maybe a fall hazard Toaster oven needs to be replaced; the function and temp dials are unreadable There needs to be a more full complement of eating utensils We never found the recycling bin The window treatment in the bedroom was pretty hard to adjust - we just removed it Parking for one car was okay but not for two No TV

The cottage is beautiful. Clean. Comfy.

Is the place adorable and in a convenient location? Yes. Are the rules and check-in/out times absolutely ridiculous? YES. We have elderly family living on the cape and would have loved to re-book here but we won't because check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10? We asked to check out at 11 instead and were denied our request, only to arrive and see in the book that check-out used to be 11, but they had scribbled it out and wrote in 10. They had also written that it would be nice if we could throw a load of laundry in before leaving. If I'm expected to check out at 10, and I'm paying twice the price of the place in fees? Laundry isn't happening and it was a huge turn-off to be expected to do so. We loved the place itself, but the rules and expectations of us as guests will keep us from coming back again. It's not worth the stress.

We loved our stay in Woodshole. Always more to explore and do. This cottage was a great jumping off point. There was a lovely, well-stocked kitchen. Other rooms needed some refresh and maintenance work. Overall, I would stay here again.

The cottage was exactly what we needed for a quick little weekend getaway! The first floor bedroom gave my partner and I a separate little space from the kiddos using the loft bedroom. Great layout! The turn table didn't work which would have been fun given the record assortment available, but otherwise all good!

This home is very cute and quaint. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay overall. The large dining room table was great as we were both able to work from home for two days in the house. We decided to stay in the loft instead of the downstairs bedroom but unfortunately the window didn't stay open in the loft and we weren't able to get the cool fall breeze upstairs. The bathroom is very outdated but definitely did the job. My only complaint was having to strip the bed before we left and do a load of laundry. We were pressed for time and wanted to make sure it made it to the dryer before our 10 AM checkout. The location was great and was minutes from the ferry.

Weekend away with two teenagers is quite demanding. Location was perfect, close enough to places to eat and the shuttle to the ferry. Had a great time will book again!

Entered the property and was very humid. May have been nice if AC was on upon entering to dry out the property so it did not smell of mildew upon entering. Recyclable bin was filled with garbage upon entering. There was no pods or laundry detergent to wash towels as was requested so used own supply. Check in and check out process was really easy

Though the layout of the property and the location are both spectacular, the property was not clean to the point where my friend and I were uncomfortable sitting on the furniture in the living room. There were disgusting white stains all over the couch and chair that were so clearly not cleaned that we could not sit on the couch. It was repulsive. The pillows on the couch and chair were also dirty and covered in stains. One positive was they provided clean towels and linens, but after seeing the couch we were a bit fearful of using the linens. The location truly is incredible - quick walk to woods hole center and a quick walk to the beach - but I wouldn't return due to the state of the interior especially during this time.

It was perfect for our short stay. The house was clean which is always my first concern. Although we only stayed one night and literally only slept there (in at 10pm out at 9am), the house seemed to have everything you'd need to be comfortable. It's close to Wood's Hole center with good places to grab breakfast. I'd stay again.
