Cozy Cottage et une maison d’hôtes SÉPARÉE dans le pays, près de la brasserie Abita, des établissements vinicoles, du lac Ponchartrain, à quelques minutes de route de la Nouvelle-Orléans. Cette propriété privée a un pavillon couvert, une véranda, une terrasse et une belle zone de promenade dans les bois pour voir le feuillage, les écureuils et les oiseaux. Super endroit pour s'évader de tout. Vaste parking. Belle mise en place pour les clients qui ont besoin de deux zones distinctes. La cuisine a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer un dîner gastronomique ou quelque chose de simple à savourer sur la terrasse ou le porche.

Older cabins, cute not fancy. Very nice large screened in porch. Abita Springs is a nice area. Take the brewery tour.

Our stay reminded both of us visiting our Grandmother houses growing up and that is a great memory to experience again. Loved the charm of the house & wood floors and screened in porch. We now have this house tagged as our go to when visiting our daughter and son in law.

This was the perfect spot for me and my family. Merry was the perfect host, she did everything she could to accommodate us. If ever I am in Louisiana again I would definitely stay don’t do it here.

Loved everything about this country home! That port h was everything! Dry clean and secluded but still close to everything. Surrounded by nature and very down home feeling. My daughter LOVED it. Very safe and host was a sweetheart. Will definitely be back!

My husband and our 3 teens wanted a place to just relax and enjoy the scenery. This place met all of our expectations and more. The porch (which is why we booked) hwas our happy place! The pictures do not do it justice. It’s even more gorgeous. The grounds were magical. The porch swing was my favorite thing. We hope to go back in the fall! Lots to do around, also. Don’t miss the Sunday Abita Springs Art and Farmers Market. Touring Abita brewery was amazing, too.

The house had a lovely screened porch and a wonderful gazebo with a hammock. I wished I had more time to spend there to enjoy them.
If one is a light sleeper, the road noise could be an issue, and the fact that the bathroom is between the two bedrooms could also be an issue for a light sleeper, as there is no buffer from the noise of the shower, etc.

The separate cottage was great for the younger crew. they enjoyed the independence. The main cottage was very quaint. We loved the looks of the past, the porch, the deck and the gazebo. The only thing was the squeeze through the gate for a larger truck, especially in the dark.

Had a great stay, loved having the guest house available for those who wanted to have more quiet time to rest. The porch, was absolutely amazing.
Only thing, we found out after booking no smoking on property- which wasnt a deal breaker however could be for some. Will definitely book again.

Very comfortable home! I enjoyed the easy access to the Tammany Trace for riding my bike and running. Fabulous to work remotely out on the screened in porch. Also always enjoy eating and drinking at the Abita Brew Pub. Merry was great making sure all was well and providing updates when a storm came through and we had a short power outage.

Great little place to stay in. Only complaint is A/C was set at 78 degrees when we got there! It was hot in the house. Took hours for the temperature to cool off. Place should have been cooled for us coming!

We enjoyed our second visit to cozy cottage. We had our granddaughter’s birthday there and she loved it. It’s nice they have the guest cottage so my husband and I have some privacy 😊

Perfect for our family
We are a family of 4. All adults. They set up was great with our two adult sons in the guest house. We all look bed there location. It’s very convenient but it feels like it’s in the woods. And the porch is wonderful.

Time in the Woods
We appreciated our time in the woods away from it all. The house is such an amazing 100-year old treasure and the furniture made for perfect complements. Two drawbacks - I have severe allergies and the air freshener was way too much. It was even in the sheets which made it difficult for me to sleep. The other comment refers to the front screen door. I loved having the back screen door secure. However, I would have loved to have a similar one on the front porch. With both, I would have felt like the porch provided reasonable security for a house in the country.

Abita Abode
My husband and I were comfortable in this cute historic home in friendly Abita Springs while attending Mardi Gras and visiting nearby relatives. We slept well and had good space to work remotely and enjoy the nice weather on the porch, patio and surrounding land.

Cute Cottage with Huge Porch in Peaceful Setting
Comfortable stay in this charming cottage with a southern porch to relax and enjoy a morning breakfast or a meal. Plenty of place to visit or read and relax and even a porch swing. All surrounded by trees and privacy. Our host was very helpful and wonderful to work with. The kitchen is well supplied with all dishes and cook ware you need. The little guest house was perfect for our son and daughter-in-law and grandson to visit for a couple of days when we were there for a 3 week stay.

Wonderful Host!
The host was easy to get in touch with and quick to reply. She accomodated our pack of pups and also very graciously let us have a late checkout since the property was not booked the following day. Abita Springs is such a cute little town, and I highly recommend staying here!

Very quiet, peaceful and accommodating
We had a great stay at the cottage. Gret useable space with everything we needed right on premises. Close to grocery stores, restaurants rail trail and outdoor activities. Owner and property manager are an absolute pleasure to work with and we will definitely be staying at this property again during our next visit to the Abita Springs LA area. Nice retreat
Beautiful little cottage suitable for parents to stay in the main house and children to stay in the guest house for their own space.
Guest house smells a bit “funny” and fitting in a third cot is a bit of a stretch but, all in all, a good stay for us.
