Nous avions demandé un plateau repas pour le soir . Nous avons été déçus. Les pâtes, en particulier, étaient sèches et sans goût. Pas de fromage comme annoncé. Prix élevé . Si nous devons revenir à Bordeaux, nous reviendrons là mais ne commanderons pas le repas.

I loved the setting. /the room was small but comfortable and the shower was very powerful with plenty of lovely hot water. I slept well and will defo come again. Beautiful and peaceful spot in central Bordeaux. Helen

Bath room

The location and property itself are very nice. Beautiful, quit and cozy. City centre is in 15 minutes walking. Personnel is friendly.

The bell in the tower is a bit loud and an alarm was on once by mistake.

When I booked this place, I did not realise that it was like this religious organisation/church type place. Which was a surprise. Kind of pleasant actually. There were a lot of facilities in terms of the whole place but in the room not so much. The public toilets in the halls were very nice and clean. And the garden and shared spaces were also very nice and quaint. Upon arrival, there was a nice man who helped us and explained everything to us. The rooms were okay. They were more like dormitories at a university or for students. But it was okay for two nights. There was a dining area for breakfast and dinner (restaurant) but we did not use it. The location is also pretty good, some nearby nice restaurants and places to eat and other shops, and not too far from the centre.

1st room was dirty, but changed to a different room better

We checked out an hour after checking in. The hotel kindly agreed a full refund which is appreciated. It's a functional place - situated a long way from the dining/exploring part of the city, but if you want a reasonably priced place to stay in Bordeaux it's probably ok. No a/c. Accommodation seems to be student based, so no frills at all.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless and although basic, was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. A very quiet enclave in the middle of a bustling city

Breakfast was basic. I did not realise the hotel was attached to or part of a religious seminary. So was not what I expected but this is not to the detriment of the hotel or my enjoyment of my stay.

Easy friendly check in. Flexible with bag storage for before and after check in. Cool building and patio courtyard with a cafe and lectures happening downstairs but room was very private and quiet. Nice to explore a different neighborhood in Bordeaux, but it is a way from main center which was fine for me!

Maybe less spartan, more decor, mattress pad as bed was very firm. I know the place is like a student/monastery dorm type style but more warmth and style would help as I am not a monk.

It is a bit far from the absolute city center. Although, close to place victoire with the tram (just around the corner). Not super straight forward to get to the train station

Very good location, very clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful.

Pleasant location away from clamour of the city but easy to visit centre with cheap regular and safe trams. An uncomplicated place to stay. Receptionist lady was very gratious and let us park car in their grounds the morning before our afternoon check in.

Booking has several reviews that are less positive than our experience. This is not a stand hotel concept but we found it a privilege to stay in such a loved building. We did follow advice to avoid breakfast and happily found a small boulongerie close to tram stop which provides fresh viennoiserie and coffee for a couple of euros.

Very quiet, secure parking, easy walking into city but trams if you wanted them. The classical music practice we heard was a lovely bonus.. Clean, warm, third floor room so good views.
