It was a very pretty villa.

It was a closed gates villa and you had to have the gate opened for your car by the property owner, if he wasn’t there you couldn’t bring your car in. If you came in after a certain time at night you had to park across the street which was very busy. He also had a big beautiful dog loose on the grounds so if the dog was out and you were leaving the building you had to contact him to leave. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate. Coffee and a croissant was offered at a bar across this very busy street also. The room had no television. Last night there at 9:40 the man didn’t answer his phone had to carry our luggage across this main road early the next morning.

Sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr nette Vermieter. Bett bequem, Bad und Einrichtung im Zimmer ganz neu, im Flur sehr schöne antike Sachen. Schöne alte Villa in einem schönen Garten, kostenloses Parken im abgeschlossenen Garten. Das Frühstück (Kaffe und Croissant) gibt es gegenüber in einer typisch italienischen Bar, guter Start in den Park.

Nur als Hinweis: wenig Klopapier und kein Fernseher ( hat uns nicht gestört)

Nice and cozy Villa with few numbers. The villa itself is amazing, room are clean and bright. We have enjoyed a garten and specific atmosphere of old house with it own history. The hotel provides a coupon for a breakfast. The breakfast is in small local cafe next to villa. Nothing special just coffee and croissant. Nice and tasty italian breakfast.

The hotel has a common italian problems for this price segment. For example we had plastic cups in the room, no options with water, unorganised management. Even for such resonable price many places provide more comfort than usual clean bed and posibility to take a shower.

Stunning garden and villa, aristocratic atmoshere, gated parking on site, good restaurant recommendation.

The bathroom in our room was rather smelly, but it got better when we kept the door closed.

The Villa is charming and surrounded by the most beautiful garden.

The breakfast was disappointing: just a coffee and a croissant which could have easily been served in our room. But instead we had to walk to a bar which was across a very busy road - I really could not understand why the owners think this is acceptable. The room lacked bedside lamps. I liked to read which helps me sleep but the room had Just one table lamp across the room which meant I had to get out of bed to turn it off and then I was wide awake. Also the room, although it had a lovely view of the beautiful garden the French doors in our room which lead to a very inviting terrace:/balcony were unavailable for us to use because they were secured by a railing and a strong fly screen - just seemed a shame. It made the room strangely claustrophobic but then we noticed the owners had full use of this area which meant we had to keep the curtains closed as it soon became obvious that we were not very private. Another train to be very disappointing - we would have loved to have thrown open a window and took in the beautiful garden but that wasn’t possible.

Amazing villa in a calm small city, close to both Como and Maggiore. Host was very nice and helpful with everything we needed. Parking is available and the breakfast was great (croissant and delicious coffee in a Cafe opposite of the villa)
