The hostess Lídia is super friendly, helpful and thoughtful. She answer many questions with a warm smile and prepared a small board with some local treats. It was lovely to arrive to a clean house with a warm touch of a welcoming souvenir. The house is located on a small village where the baker still sells the bread from door to door. AC available. Hot water provided by gas and not a water heater - this made the difference since there was 6 of us and we'd run out of hot water if there was a water heather instead. Great outside areas, specially appreciated by the kids. The book with recomendations was really helpful too.

The house was a bit cold, but it was quickly fixed by turning on the ACs available.

Het huis ligt afgelegen, is netjes, zeer sober en eenvoudig ingericht met het minimum aan comfort: geen afwasmachine,bed in de living, slechte matras. Het zwembad is zeer klein, de tuin is niet aangelegd, het terras ligt achter een afrastering. De presentatie via foto’s is zeer bedrieglijk. De prijs is niet markt comfort.

El jardín, con columpios y zona de escalada para los niños y la barbacoa. Inmejorable el vino reserva y el queso de bienvenida. Fácil aparcamiento en la puerta.

The hosts were great, location fab, pool and facilities were brilliant and had a great stay.

Nothing to dislike, we did research before going to area and it suited us fine. You have to go 2 to 3 km for restaurants but not a problem if your prepared to drive or taxi is cheap.

It was comfortable and very clean. It had all the kitchen and other equipment we needed, towels and bedding were plentiful and clean. The pool, natural play area, barbecue and outdoor dining area were excellent. The hosts are friendly and helpful, they were punctual with meeting us to check in and out. They also maintained the pool by appointment during our stay. Fantastic location to access by car: the beach at Baleal (25mins), Dino parque (30mins), Buddha garden (15mins), Óbidos castle and market (5mins). The photos on the advert are accurate. Very pleasant stay! 👍

There is no washing machine or oven but there is an induction stove, microwave and outdoor grill.

We liked the yard with swings, a place for a grill. Girls liked homeless cats that appeared from everywhere. It was also pretty cool to live in such an atmosphere house with Portuguese style. The house was also clean and well-occupied in general. It was also a big pleasure to receive a local wine from hosts.

However, there were also a few things that made this stay not so unforgettable, I would say: 1. There was no "ferry" in the kitchen 2. There was no soap anywhere. The bathroom in the yard had soap but it was used by previous guests and it was unrespectful to us to leave it there. 3. We had a grill in the yard but there were no matches to set a fire.
