Unresolved billing issue. My husband and I ordered two drinks at the inside bar where we added our bill to the room. The bill was $17.00 where we left 20%, which equates to almost $4. When we checked out the gratuity showed a $19 tip. I Explained to the employee checking us out that the gratuity was incorrect. she shrugged her shoulders and said "I'm sorry". i was looking for me too receipt but I did not have a copy which was my fault but I can assure you l did not leave $19 on a $17 tab. After I checked out I contacted the front desk staff Logan where he sent an email to his leadership team; Yomaira and Salmah and advised they would get right back to me. This was on October 30th. It is now the night of November 4th with no response whatsoever. I have followed up with two different emails with again, no response. I am not worried about the $19 but rather the principle of looking into this billing issue where a server overcompensated themselves without management looking into the issue after a customer complaint. Aside from this it was a wonderful stay, but poor leadership to not respond.

the older male bartender at the lobby bar was not very friendly, rolling his eyes twice when we asked for our drinks to be made chilled.

the room was lovely, as was the pool.

when we checked in, our room wasn't ready, so we went to the bar, but waited about 20 minutes before anyone surfaced to ask for an order. That was a bit frustrating for a high-end establishment.

The room was a great size. The bathroom was LOVELY. The staff is great. We would stay there again, and would recommend your hotel to others.

The safe in our room did not work. The hallways and lobby were freezing !!!!!!! The lobby and hallway decor was old fashioned, busy and not relaxing. The beds are too soft for us.
