Great place to stay. Was well looked after and nothing too much trouble.
Rooms spotless and spacious.

poor housekeeping room not made up or bins emptied or tea/milk replaced in 4 nights no clean towels either
blind in bathroom broken we had to put towel over the unfrosted window which is open to the road.
matress was badly stained also and uncomfortable also.
some more choice at breakfast would be good,fruit maybe?

It is right on SW Coast Path in the middle of a charming unspoiled Cornish seaside village. There is a deli/general store opposite and cafes etc nearby.
We had dinner in the Halfway which was delicious. The full breakfast in the morning was huge and freshly cooked.
We were lucky to be there on a Wednesday night when the local fishermen’s choir sings in the pub - a rare treat indeed.

Given the age of the building it was rather noisy when people walked past the corridors, but was a comfortable stay

Hotel location was great, meal was fantastic in the evening and all the staff were very friendly and helpful
Breakfast not served til 9am, I was not aware of this when booking otherwise I would have ensured I bought food with me and couldnt find anywhere to leave keys when checking out early like in some hotels

location was very good. breakfast was good but not enough options
room could have been better equipped. only one light worked no bulb in other light above bed. no toilet roll in bathroom and small mirror on wall not adequate.

I love the location, the food and the bed was comfortable.
I didn't like the fact there was tvs in the lobby just placed in the corner. There were coffee cup marks on the shelf, empty box under the bed and the towels weren't thick or big enough.

Quiet location close to the beach
Our bathroom. Sink didn’t drain. Extractor needs cleaning or replacing SOO noisy. Shower was cold and controls fell off. as soon as we complained the staff guessed we were in room 6!!
Mike the manager was very generous in refunding the whole room rate in cash!

The location is superb, only a 1minute walk to the sea front. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent. My wife is coeliac and the chef went out of her way to look after us.

convenient to Kingsand and Cawsands. very cosy pub
there seemed to be lots of flies in the breakfast room and also whilst eating dinner , it’s very off putting out table of 8 all commented on it.

Traditional-looking inn with clean, cozy rooms and good showers. It's relatively basic accommodation, but the restaurant was great, the people who work there were helpful and hygiene was top notch. Recommended.

Not being able to have breakfast before 9am - exceptionally late, later than anywhere else we’ve ever stayed!
